Yes absolutely it is!
What size of circuit breaker do I need
Should work fine on either a regular 15 amp or 20 amp breaker.
Do you have to replace the whole pump or just oil after many uses?
You just filter and reuse the oil after every 25 to 30 batches with the oil filter that comes with freeze dryer.
I live in an apartment. How much noise does this make?
A little louder than your dishwasher or refrigerator condenser, with noise levels between 50 and 70 dB. When the vacuum pump is at it's peak (only during part of the freeze drying process) the noise level can increase a little up to 75 o r80 dB. It's best if kept in a utility room if you don't have a garage.
