AnswerThis vacuum head will work on all surfaces- cement, gunite, vinyl, and fiberglass. A vacuum designed just for cement does not work well in vinyl.

I purchased another brand from my local pool supply store, but it was awful and it took too much time to clean the pool. After struggling with the other brand, I ordered a Hayward Half Moon Transparent Power Flexible Pool Vacuum Head. We are very pleased with it. It’s easy to use, durable and allows me to clean the pool in half the time as the other brand.

I own a pool company and I go through a lot of these, but they are still the only ones I will buy. My only complaint is the three circle rings that hold in the handle always brake overtime. If they made those rings stronger that hold the handle together with the bolt, it would be the best.
