About This Product
The Tradesman 1500 Outdoor Infrared Quartz heater is a 1500-Watt heater that provides gentle warmth for areas where floor space is at a premium and with the flexibility to install it on the included Tripod, wall or the ceiling. The Tradesman 1500 provides radiant heat energy, which instantly warms people and solid objects within the beam of heat. It is ideal for patios, balconies, workshop, garage, etc. It produces an output of 1500-Watt (5200 BTU) and is cULus electrically certified. Requiring no gas or other flammable fuels, the carbon fiber heating element heats very efficiently. Its features include 1500-Watt of gentle, radiant heat, an anodized extruded aluminum alloy frame, an aluminum reflector that evenly concentrates heat outward, a mounting bracket that tilts 30 forwards and backward to angle unit as needed and a 6 ft. power cord. Uses a standard 120-Volt wall outlet. It is protected against rain and dust (IP35 certified).

Can you tilt the heater when it is on the tripod?
You are not able to tilt the heater. There is an internal tip over safety switch, so if it is tilted the heater will think it is tipping over and it will not turn on.
What does the energy saver button does?
These heaters do not have an energy saving mode.
Saves energy
I want to use a couple of these around my fire pit to bring in a little heat over the top and from behind. Will they be effective
These heaters work great to keep things warm within their beam of heat.
Is there an option to lay it on the floor horizontally?

The ceiling mount can hang down 23 inches.

Why dosnt it turn on. It’s plugged in pressed the power button and nothing happens. The light just stays solid red. This is my second unit brand new out of the box, Is this item just that poorly built?
Please make sure the heater is installed correctly. It needs to be installed on the wall or tripod, and the power button needs to be situated below the heater. There is an internal tip over switch, so if the heater is no installed correctly it will not turn on.
