Bought this as a quick & dirty backup when my mobile home heater went out on me. Between the beginning of early last year and around April of this year, it worked great. Getting chilly, so filled tank but now it puts out several puffs of flame, then motor shuts off. Checked Youtube and the photo cell may have gone out?! Checked manufacturers website and there are NO repair shops in Reno, NV. area within a 100 mile radius.

Been a great little heater! I bought this thing 6 years ago when I first opened my shop. On cold days it's running for 12 hours straight. This is the sixth season so far. I've ran red and green diesel through it, kerosene, and even a little used engine oil.(heavily diluted) Just doing the maintenance like you're supposed(clean the nozzle, filters, electrode, optical sensor) keeps it running trouble free. I made a dolly for it that works perfect too, so don't have to pick it up ever time I want to move it.

Excellent heater for enclosed spaces
Heater works well for enclosed spaces, such as garages, and event tents. I have had this heater for three years now and it has been very reliable. As long as you take care of it, and make sure the fuel pressure setting is set correctly, it should give you years of reliable service.

I am not confident about this product at all
I researched kerosene heaters vs propane heaters quite a bit before this purchase. It was between this Dyna-Glo heater and one at Tractor Supply and I chose this one because it had a fuel gauge on it......Terrible decision I purchases low sulfur K1 Kerosene and put five gallons in. After about four hours of use, a huge puff of smoke came out and it went out. So then I turned the power off and clicked it back on at it started again. It continued and did it again a few hours later. I chalked it up to low fuel and finished off the day. Two months later I pulled this heater out and filled it up again with the same kerosene. It lit for about an hour than went out. It would not stay lit. It was to late to return this to Home Depot so I took it apart. There is a Pressure Regulator you can mess with using a screw driver and I had to turn the pressure way up with the hood off to get a good air mixture and it would stay lit for maybe 5 minutes than puff out. It took about two hours of this to finally get the air pressure right and than I put the hood back on and again it went out. Back to messing with the pressure regulator and I finally got it to stay lit at around 7 PSI. So it has stayed lit for a few hours now and is nice and toasty but I just do not trust this machine nor the quality.

Best $200.00 I've ever spent.
Works better than I expected. Showed it to several friends and they will buy one for their garage.

Works as expected and was what we needed.
We needed a new heater for an area of our shop and it worked perfectly as soon as we started it up. The instructions were clear and there were no problems. We will do business with Home Depot again

This product didn't last.
I have run 2 tanks of diesel through this heater. Now, it runs for 10 seconds and quits with a puff of smoke. If I can find the ticket I will take it back
