The Helly Hansen Active Low is a lightweight, yet rugged, waterproof athletic safety shoe. The upper is Cordura nylon overlaid with waterproof nubuck leather. The shoe is completely waterproof using a full booty membrane construction and has a tongue gusset to keep out water and debris. The Active Low is metal free and features a composite toe for protection. A TPU shank has been added for additional stability, and a soft padded collar and tongue for comfort. The Active Low has a Helly Wear toe guard and heel counter for extended durability and abrasion resistance. Helly Hansen combined a full length PU insole with gel inserts, along with a cushioning lightweight EPR midsole, for all day comfort and responsiveness. The shoe has a special breathable air-mesh lining to help pull moisture away from your feet, keeping them dry and comfortable. Combine these features with a slip and oil resistant rubber outsole and you have a work shoe suitable for any indoor or outdoor job site.
