Men's Thor Boa Slip Resistant Athletic Shoes - Composite Toe - Black/Gray Size 10(M)

While I love the idea of a work shoe with the BOA lacing system, the size 8 I ordered is big. All other shoes I own are a size 8, but my feet are practically swimming in these shoes. I have to double up on socks just to make them somewhat functional. Hopefully they work out when I wear them to work.

The shoes are nice and comfortable

I am a big fan of the BOA lace system for years. BOA laces are on my Snowboard Boots and on the type of athletic running shoes I have been using for work for the last 5 years. I tried a pair of BOA laced work boots a while back. They laced great but they were quite stiff and it was too hard to get my foot into and out of them so I went back to the running shoes that do not offer my feet any protection. I saw these shoes from Mark's and figured I would try them out. These things are near perfect. Easy to get in and out of as they shoes and not full, over the ankle boots. At my work I need mostly toe protection, and prefer my ankles to articulate freely. The only tiny complaint I have is that it is a little hard get the wire lacing tightened up fully as the BOA knob gets harder to twist as the shoe closes up on the foot. Not a big issue - just wish there was a slightly bigger knob so the twist was a bit more powerful. Maybe I nave weak finger muscles. Anyway, the shoe opens way up and it is easy to plop your foot in. No need for a shoe-horn. There is a just the right amount of wiggle room in the toe area. Toe cups seem sturdy enough for my needs. I will buy these again when and if these wear out. Hope they offer this shoe in a brown color sometime. BOA laced shoes are all I use. So easy to adjust. Normal rope shoe laces are a nuisance to re-tie and to acheive just the right amount of tightness and rope laces dangle all day on or near the floor with dirt and germs. In 5 years I have never had a BOA lace system fail on any shoe or boot product I own. Spoil yourself and try a pair of these.

Great shoe. Very happy. Love the lacing. Very convenient. Fits perfect. I thought I was a wide foot but these medium width are perfect with my work socks.

Terrific everyday work shoe and both attractive and comfy for wearing everyday. Lightweight yet very supportive. The lace system is dependable and secure and super cool. Just as those wily Norwegians who designed them. Very pleased with purchase. Fit is perfect too.

Probably some of the freshest work shoes I’ve ever had super lightweight super comfortable no break in. And no laces the same incredible boa lace up system I have in my snowboard boots I hope they have a new model next year
