This knife set is great. I was not looking for a set that was full of knives that I really wasn't going to use. This set has exactly what you need for good knives. The knives are easy to handle with the comfortable grip. The blade edge is sharp but when does need touched up, it handles it great. Wonderful set. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I love these knives. The knives have a well-balanced feel to them; they feel very natural, and the blades themselves are very sharp from the start. From the blade to the handle, I like how it's one piece of stainless steel; it seems that they will be more durable than the typical plastic, wood, or rubber handled knives. This set is an upgrade for me but already I can see the difference it is making. The steak knives are serrated but cut rather clean and well. I especially like the black wood block with the contrasting stainless steel knives and the J.A. Henkel logo on each end of the knives' handle. I love that this set came with the scissors as well. I received this 6 piece knife block as a gift and it is as sharp looking as the knives cut! I’ve found some knives need to be sharpened before use but not these!
