Asked by Pat January 16, 2019Yes, this will seal around your standpipes or vents and stop your leaks. If you want a few longer lasting options, you could use our Henry 209XR Extreme Rubberized Wet Patch which offers a Lifetime Warranty or if you don't want the black patch, we have our Henry 885 Tropi-Cool Seam & Repair Roof Sealant in white that also offers a Lifetime Warranty. Another option, depending on how much product you need, would be our Henry 880 Tropi-Cool Stop Leak Silicone Spray. This comes in black, white, or clear and offers a Lifetime Warranty. For the Henry 208R and 209XR, we recommend embedding one of our fabrics. You don't need fabric for the Henry 885 or Henry 880. Asked by fixitmom723 March 31, 2018I just swept the are now I'm eating for rain to test it. Yes once it dries you can do anything with it treat it just as shingle buy flashing plaint it will protect your roof from uv light flashing paint is used on flat roof to cover leaks and protect.

Asked by Blake June 29, 2018No, not really. It has a rubbery type texture that most likely would cause the paint to flake off after drying. But it may be possible if it doesn't see a lot of foot traffic??

Is the white the same as the black? I wanted to order one gallon of white to paint whole my chimney.
Asked by carol May 31, 2018No, different compounds. Go to Henry website and there are many white coat coating available that are designed to not patch but seal onto dry surfaces. Make sure your chimney does not need any repointing and is clean and dry.

Asked by floss April 5, 2019Yes, that’s the reason why I bought this product. I had purchased this product after searching on YouTube of how to repairing loose shingles. I lifted the loose shingles and put down a layer of the roof cement to hold down the shingles as well as sealing the nail holes. I hope this helps you.
