would this be ok to install in kitchen?

I personally wouldn't install any product in a kitchen or bath that liquid spills could seep through. I recently installed Heritage Mill's Birch American Tandooi in 3 bedrooms and a hallway. It looks very nice and was less expensive than carpet. However, one plank had the top finish separate from the bottom board and I had to remove half the floor to pull it out and replace it. Hopefully this floor serves me well for a long time, but bottom line - you get what you pay for.

Does this product need the 72hr acclimation before being installed.

Heritage Mill click and engineered floors do not require acclimation. However, if the product will be stored for any period of time prior to install, it should be kept in a controlled environment consistent with the area to be installed.

Are there stair pieces available to match this flooring?

We have stairnose designed to transition the flooring to a step down at the top of a staircase, between rooms, etc. We do not manufacturer stair parts (treads, etc) for individual stair construction. For floating installations requiring a stairnose, use the lipover stairnose model #LM6560. For glue down installations, use the flushmount stairnose model #LM6561.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality flooring! Unfortunately this product wasn’t sold at any of my local stores, so I had to order an entire box to see if it looked good in person. The floor looked good so I ordered 11 boxes for our bedroom. The flooring shipped to me on a pallet and proceeded to install a week later. The description says random length; however out of the 11 boxes I had there were only 3 planks that had the tongue and groove that weren’t the normal length. That wasn’t important to me so not a big deal. Installation was about average difficulty. I’ve installed other click flooring, this wasn’t difficult but wasn’t the easiest, about average on the install. The floor looks great after it’s all installed; the boards have good character and variation between the planks (but not too much.)

I had them installed in our new home on August 2018, it is now December 2018, and the floors have some deep scratches from moving furniture and dents from heels. We are now a no shoe policy home. The floors are beautiful and unique, love the color. This is my first time dealing with engineered wood, I thought they would be more sustainable. There are no markers that match the floors well enough, so I don't recommend trying to paint the scratches. For longevity purposes next time, I will use 100% wood. I spent about 7k on these floors for 1700 sq ft, I also placed underlay, over tile. If I would have chosen 100% wood, It would have been well over 10k, which I did not want to spend, however I love my floors.

Two rooms out of four are done, and I have to say I'm very pleased with this product. No complaints about the quality of the planks and the finish. This color is best described as a medium brown with shades of gold and red. Perfect belen and shade to go with our cherry, oak and light walnut furniture.

First time installing this type of product - straightforward and turned out very well. My wife was deployed when I installed the flooring and she was extremely happy with the way it turned out, as was I. Only 3 pieces were un-usable, out of 10 cases purchased. So far it seems to be a durable product with no visible scratches or dents.
