Copper Plank 13/32 in. Thick x 5-1/2 in. Wide x 36 in. Length Cork Flooring (10.92 sq. ft. / case)

Product Overview

Cork flooring combines the beauty of a natural and truly renewable material with the comfort of a cushioned, warm and silent surface. It is highly sustainable since the cork oak trees are not cut. Only the outer bark is harvested, and it will grow again each 9 years. The new narrow and beveled plank format creates a more appealing and elegant look than traditional cork floors that are made in large panels. Cork flooring is warm underfoot, comfortable and soft to walk on, anti-microbial, fire and moisture resistant and provides unrivalled noise reduction properties. Installation is made easy with the precision milled glueless locking system. This floor features an integrated underlayment made out of cork. Easy maintenance: simply vacuum. Prefinished cork requires no additional sealing after installation. Warm to the touch and resilient, cork floors are a great addition to your home. Ideal for all levels of installation. This floor qualifies for 4 LEED points: (1) EQ4.3 (Indoor Environmental Quality)-Low Emitting, (2) MR4.1 (Materials & Resources)-Recycled Content, (3) MR 6-Rapidly Renewable Materials, (4) ID 1-Innovation in Design.

buy 1/3 more than you need
we had this professionally installed; contractor tells me many boards rejected because they either had dinged up/broken edges on the tongue and groove and corners or the pieces were not the same depth. we have a whole box of waste on this tiny bathroom floor, really glad I over ordered.

Cheap Product
I had previously installed cork flooring bought from another vendor. I was quite happy with my purchase. This was not the case with the Milford product. I found it to be cheaply made and flimsy. I plan to return to Home Depot at my earliest convenience.

very nice product
We installed this product in our basement and it fit our needs perfect. The look and feel is better than the laminate options. Installation is easy and straightforward.

Poor Quality
Purchsed this flooring and installed really looked great. we had put flooring paper down to protect while work was being done we used blue painters tape when we wnet to remove the tape it has pulled the finish (picture) off the flooring. We also drop a book on the floor and it put a big dent in the flooring. Alos do not let your wife wear her high heels as they leave small indents Real poor I am not sure where you would use this stuff since it can not handle normal use.

Response from THD Customer ServiceMar 14, 2013
Hi SRV2015, I apologize for your poor experience with this product . I reached to the Manufacturer for more information on this product and below is their response. One of the many benefits of cork material is that it has a natural resiliency and when used in flooring offers a surface that will rebound and regain most (if not all) of its shape from many indentations. It is not recommended that high heels be worn on cork or hardwood floors because they channel so much pressure onto an isolated spot. Surface finish issues due to the use of painters tape have not been seen previously with our cork flooring. Our tape testing in response to this posting has also revealed no noticeable effect on the cork flooring surface. It is important to only use the blue tape marketed as "safe for flooring" since there are many types that are not recommended for flooring. When applying any adhesive type product to cork or wood flooring, it is highly recommended that it be used sparingly and left adhered for as short a time period as possible. Thank you

Beautiful floor
We recently had 55 square feet of cork flooring layed over our old tile, in our kitchen, dining room and family room. It brings a new demension to our condo that looks warm and rich! We couldn't be happier. Easy to install, and easy to care for.
