Does this unit come with a tunnel and controls for window mount? I am looking to replace a champion 5000cfm. Its a joke that there is nothing in stores and you are supposed to buy sight unseen with fuzzy details including videos/pics not product relate.
No it does not come with window mount, controls, or tunnel. However I highly recommend this cooler is powerful and cools my mom 1800 sq ft home upstairs and down stairs cold! She only needs to run it on low, otherwise it get to cold! She lives in Riverside County CA were it gets in the 110 degrees.
No, the Hessaire 6800 CFM model does not come with a tunnel. You would either have to make one of sheet metal or buy a less powerful unit or another brand that has it. The controls are not included with it but I bought a DIAL 6-Position Evaporative Cooler Wall Switch for less than $15 and it's worked fine.

Yes this unit uses a 1/4in line. Most are 25ft long in the kits but can be purchased longer in copper or poly. HD sells their Evaporative Cooler Water Hook-Up Kit (25ft) with an Angle Valve #4479 for $20.69 #4403 is only for the inside the cooler if yours is broken $12.83 NOT for hooking a new cooler up to water! Copper pipe is the best long term solution but remember to install it at an angle and use a bleed off valve so it can be drained before winter or it will split!
