Good price for 40 washers. They work and look great for #6 oval head stainless countersink type wood/sheet metal screws that attach the back panels on the tweed covered guitar amps I used them for. They keep fabric from unraveling and keep the screws from digging into the surface of the boards by distributing the force to the outer perimeter of the washers. Perfect for oval or flat headed countersink type wood/sheet metal or machine screws used on softer surfaces like wood or fabric/tolex covered panels. Appearance and function are equivalent to oem washers used for this purpose.

One does not typically see these finish washers at the hardware store. I was lucky, my father-in-law gave me a box of hardware such as machine screws, nuts and washers. Among the items were finish washers of various sizes. These are great to hang protective sheet of plastic on doors (yeah, we have dogs!) or top of pass through window. I used all that were given to me, now to re-stock for the next project. Glad Home Depot has them on line.
