What is the metal gauge of the outer shell/
I have this cabinet in my building but have lost the key. Is there a way to get a replacement? I don't have the original receipt.
Hi, and thank you for your question. Unfortunately Hillman does not have a replacement key for these cabinets.
Hillman does not offer a replacement key. Less expensive to replace the whole thing with a new unit. Old unit is easily opened to gain access to anything inside.
I have the same cabinet and it came with six keys so you should have the spares somewhere (unless you locked them inside). But it is probably cheaper to buy a new one rather then have a locksmith pick the lock then make new keys (if needed). The cabinet is of very insecure construction so you should be able to pry it open.
I need 20x and I need them all keyed alike with one master key - is this possible?
