dead after < 1 year
Bought from HD in summer of 2019. It’s got an “E9” error meaning the moisture sensor is done and they offer little to replace it. There should be a class action lawsuit against HiSense. It really is unbelievable how many people have wasted money on these things

    Hisense is Nonsense
E9! E9! E9!!! My unit was used for 3 weeks in just over a year. It looks BRAND NEW. Even still has the plastic film over the display. Not a speck of dust. yet, got the E9 code like 95% of Hisense owners. Customer Service would never admit to this MASSIVE knwn problem or offer ANYTHING to help. As another reviewer wrote, I also blame the RETAILERS that continue to sell this junk. Seriously, how do we do the class action. I'm on board. Makes me sick to think of putting this in a landfill so soon.

      Hisense dehumidifiers are junk!
Purchase two hisense dehumidifiers within the last 3 years. Both failed. The first was a 100 pint and it would freeze. Fortunately it failed within the warranty period and was replaced. The second dehumidifier is s 70 pint and quits running with a code E9. It's a sensor problem. Unfortunately out of warranty. Just under 3 years old. Just look at the reviews and you will determine that these Chinese products are JUNK!

          Poor product
Bought in January E9 error in august. Contacted customer service and they requested pictures. Sent and they couldn’t see clearly. Retook pics and they asked for information that was clearly in the pictures. Stall stall stall. Never ever buy this product.

            Joke
Just like all the rest - still quite new, then the dreaded E9 code. Truly a piece of junk. Not only will I never buy anything from HiSense again, but I'll certainly think about doing my shopping at a different retailer that will better stand behind the products it sells.

              Agreed
Like everyone else here is saying....I bought this to supplement what I have already with another system and all I get is E9. I was told to unplug....hold power button 20 secs....replug...set to auto....and it still does not work...if goes a bit with no water coming and then reverts to E9 again...agreed,,,,someone should file suit against thos crap...

                Terrible

Terrible Product with NO Customer Support
I will never purchase another product from Hisense again. Purchased a Hisense portable air conditioner that stopped working after using it for less than one summer. Customer service provided NO assistance. Instead of learning my lesson, I purchased a Hisense dehumidifier. After very little use, the E9 code is displayed and it collects no water. Terrible product. Do not purchase!

Warning Do not buy this Hisense DEhumidifier
Purchased this dehumidifier 3 years ago and received the E9 error code. The warranty is only 2 years and they would not replace the item or give any parts to repair. I wish i would have know all the problems this machine had. Do look elsewhere for a dehumidifier. You are warned
