exactly what I needed
I used this to make a spare tire mount that swings down to open the hatch, for my Jeep Cherokee. It is exactly as advertised and worked perfectly.

It works as advertised, but it does wobble significantly on a standard hitch, more by the nature of what it does not by any manufacturing defect. I found some composite shims tighten this up very easily. Probably not a big deal for most people anyway. It’s solid.
