It is made of heavy duty high carbon recycled railroad steel. The paint is a water-based, lead-free brown finish. Solid rivet construction ensures durability and stability. Secured locking mechanism is permanently attached for safety. Recessed triple-thick steel legs provide more toe room. Extra heavy-duty headboard brackets are included.

Really home depo.... gave me USED product
Received my product a few weeks ago and decided to wait to open it until I got my mattress. Finally when I got it open we realized that this frame was VERY used and worn out already. We expected more home depo. Never order online again. It would be an inconvenience to even send it back at this point.

I have Cal-King memory foam with box spring on this bed frame, there is no shifting or movement unless you move it which BTW is easy to move on a tile floor. Good under bed storage. I recommend this product, for the money and compared to others I looked at....this is a good pick.
