      It is important to shake vigorously for a few mins before using. Also, a hot water bath for 15-20 mins will sometimes loosen up the material to add pressure and help unblock anything that may be in the tube. Sometimes through shipping or storage, the product can be frozen, or get too hot, and that may affect pressure in the cans as well.                     TAKE this product off your shelf.
                    This product is crap. Don’t waste your $$. Even the website is useless for help. Im not able to write a review on the website Shame on any store that sells this. H D should take this crappy product off their shelf. Instructions on the can are not very clear. Website doesn’t have help videos for this product.

                      Not worth it
                      Did 2 passes over the corner of my wall but the result was very inconsistent , the nozzle would come off when adjusting the setting which is difficuly to put back on without spraying , most of the texture would get stuck to it and make a mess everywhere except where it needed to, instead of continuing I just took it back, couldn't return it because "the can is almost empty" I let them know that I barely used it and stopped when I noticed how bad it was, still said no, id recommend just thining out some mud and rolling it, saves you 20$ and a trip back to the store lol

                        Avoid!!! Useless mess.
                        Negative star. Avoid this product. This is an utter failure as a consumer product. I purchased this to get a few spots done without having to pull out the compressor and boy was I sorry. The cans top failed to spray anything except for to leak all over itself. Tried all the instructions, put it upside down. Best part when you take the trigger out it continues to spray everywhere. Maybe I got a bad can but I’m not sure how this is a product on a commercial shelf. Shame on you Home Depot.

                          Poor quality - Leaks
                          Horrible product. All three cans sprayed more on the floor and my hand due to poor quality and lack of a seal between the can and nozzle.

                            Way better that DAP
                            Purchased a can of DAP Knock Down thought I was buying the good stuff. Not so much. Purchased Homax wall texture and it was night and day way better! Used both on heavy texture. Dap would barely spray and was inconsistent. Homax was easy to adjust, and even spray.

                              I wasted $23 Buying this
                              I shook the can for over a minute and sprayed a test area. I turned the can upside down per the instructions. I got more texture on the floor than onto the area that needed it. I did make sure I got a can that was not expired. I will never buy this brand again. Save your money and buy another brand. Yes, I’ve used spray texted before with great results.

                                A little difficult to use, but does the job
                                Used this to match wall texture over some patches. Used spackling (has primer) over holes, taped a drop cloth under the area and spread out onto the floor. Shook can vigorously and did a test spray on the drop cloth against the wall, then pointed can at the area I was trying to cover.

                                  Excellent final results....
                                  This was my second time repairing a wall with joint compound. The first time, I used a 3/8" nap roller, which worked great, but doesn't get into corners/creases well, so I decided to use the spray. I followed the directions! The application is tricky, not really five stars. The first coat I sprayed on medium, and it looked fairly smooth after it dried. I was really nervous to do more because I didn't want another smooth coat and then have to sand it off. The second coat spray was on heavy.

                                    Easy to use with 2 settings for fine or heavy. We had a fine orange peel texture and stl had to use 2 cans to cover 40 square feet. The wall was 24 inches by 19 feet.

                                    The Homax Orange Peel spray worked well to match my existing orange peel pattern. However, I did not get anywhere near the 50 square feet of coverage claimed on the can. I had to buy a second can, and it is costly.
