Yes I did and it worked fine. I did the ceiling first so the can was fresh and sprayed well.

Yes, you can use this on a ceiling. If you are trying to match existing texture, note that some ceilings are covered with "popcorn" texture. That's a different texture. You cannot match it with this "orange peel" product. You can buy spray texture cans that will patch "popcorn" texture. "Popcorn" texture was commonly used on ceilings in America from the 1960's through 2000 or so. It's not commonly used any more. In fact, many homeowners scrape it off.

It's a mystery. This product has poor coverage and some cans have defective spray nozzles. And this product can't match existing texture if it's very heavy. But other competing products are even worse. If you need to patch more than a small area, you'll do better to use an air compressor and spray texture hopper. The end result will be a much better match. Some stores will rent this for a modest fee. Even if you buy the equipment, it doesn't cost much more than a few of these cans.

I totally agree with you. No other choices

It is expensive but I use it because it saves my labor costs. I do not use this product to do a whole room, I use this product on a wall repair small or large. I test the spray texture on a piece of card board to figure out what i need to do to match whats on the wall, If I paid someone to come and put plastic on the floor, walls not being sprayed and light fixtures (compressed air hoppers make a lot of over spray), have them mix the texture and spray it and then clean up the mess and then wait up to 24 hours to dry. The spray texture dries in 30 min and the painters can finish up the same day. Using this product saves me about 100 to 125 dollars for every medium to large wall repair so for me its a good deal

There are many factors that go in to consideration for the price points. There is labor,manufacturing, reasearch and development,distribution,marketing sales etc. If you use the product accordingly for small areas and compare outside labor costs you will see the value in the 20$ can. Thank you

That's a fair question . i often have trouble with this product where the can does not fully empty....sometimes a half can will be left inside. Only thing I noticed is that the water based one comes out better than the oil based product most of the time

Because it works, in the right hands. Very economical when you consider mixing up texture, packing up the hopper and compressor and then cleaning up, all for a small patch.
