How many strands can I plug together

Package states: "Connect up to 45 sets of 50 lights on 1 outlet" This set consists of two 50-light strands, so you could connect 22 sets of 100 lights on one outlet. This large number is because the lights are LED, which use very little current.

good if you want to be disappointed before Christmas
half a strand is out right when its time to enjoy them. it's almost impossible to change the fuse which did not fix it. Taking this garbage back before Christmas. Will never buy this brand again.

These lights do not last! For $30+ a strand...I should get more than 2 weeks of lighting out of these outdoor lights. I threw out 8 strands this season. Thankfully I bought 2 extra last season, & another 2 this season. I just drove past my house & I have at least 2 110’ strands that are dimly lit. A strand in the middle of these is bright & beautiful. I’ll be replacing the bad strands this weekend. These should last years...not weeks! They are great when they work...but I will be looking for much better lights for next year. These suck! It’s not the fuses, power cords, or number of strands. It’s the crappy manufacturing. You can see a brightly lit strand at the far right of my photo...that’s the only good strand on our fence.

I install Christmas lights professionally and began so this year. I used these lights for the first few houses and realized how cheaply made they are!!! Either the fuses pop on them or the stands will stop working in the middle of the strand. These lights have cost me money because I have to go back to these homes and either change the fuses out or completely change the strands. I now use commercial-grade lights that are much better and I recommend you do the same especially if you are planning on using them on your gutter lines where fixing them is a tough issue.

We bought four of these to frame the outside of our house this Christmas. They were supposed to be soft white. The first stand was, but had a few lights that looked extremely yellow. Already hung on the roof we shrugged it off. The next stand was the same. The last two were about 3/4 yellowed and 1/4 soft white. Unscrewing the plastic bulb we determined the actual lightbulb was a completely different color. We took our clips off, repackaged, drove back to te store and exchanged, only to find replacements still had random yellow lights. Sadly it's quite noticeable and looks terrible, even from the street. $170 on new outside lights and I'll want to buy different ones next year. My husband did too much work putting them up to take down/return AGAIN. Apparently this brand has TERRIBLE quality control~if any. I recommend buying a different brand if you're looking to buy warm white lights.

More Chinese junk. Put these up last year as new, just put them up today (of course the 2nd story ones), and most don’t light (there’s 2 strings). What’s weird is the end that is plugged into the power and extension cord is the end that doesn’t light. Power is going up the left side of the house in pic). These were advertised as working even if a bulb goes out. Of course now they are over a year old and I don’t have the receipt I have to get new ones. Typical Chinese made garbage.

This set is not one continuous string, but two 30-foot strings connected together. This does allow more flexibility in how the light may be used. The bulb covers do include small vent holes at the tip to help prevent moisture from being retained in them. The string has small bases and they seem to work fine with the universal hanging clips. The set comes packed on a reasonably sized plastic spool for storage, and includes a 3-year warranty. The label indicates that up to 45 sets of 50 lights or a total of 2,250 bulbs) can be connected to a single outlet (probably assuming a 15 Amp circuit). Forty-five 30-foot strings would cover about 1,300 feet (a quarter of a mile). Despite the “super bright” label, these are nowhere near as bright as older C7 Christmas lights that they appear to try to replace. When used outdoors, it can be difficult to tell whether they are illuminated unless it is reasonably dark. Also, unlike the older miniature bulbs which generally distribute most of their light around the sides of the bulb, LEDs tend to project it forward from the base in a more confined beam. The covers refract only a small amount of light downward. If you are placing the string in a high location (such as a roof) to be viewed from below, I recommend NOT pointing them upward, as the much of the light will be directed away from the view point below, making them very dim. Instead, try to aim them more toward the viewer would be.
