Came folded in a way that made them easily spread. Fit perfectly where I wanted them. A couple of lights were out but when I pushed them found they were just loose.

The lights are very bright and has the the highest density of all the Christmas lights that I could find. Very satisfied just wish they offered the same set in larger sizes like 6' x '6 or 6' x 12'.
