Try press the control box button several times rapidly to get the switch button to work. I think it may be a manufacturer issue since we had the same problem on several light strands. I resolved it by pressing the button several times rapidly first, then pressing it to switch between Warm White and Multicolor.
Yes, they will be either white or color - they do not automatically change, something I didn't like about them
They do not blink
No, these particular lights will either do Warm White or Multicolor Lights. Meaning each bulb has a different color. Green, Orange, Blue, Yellow and Red.
The box says you can connect up to 17 sets on one outlet.
I found out with the Control box you have to press the button quickly sometimes and let go. Other times, you have to press for 1 -2 seconds and then let go. These sets can only do Warm White or Multi-Color so the button only functions for that.
One colored setting. You get all white, or press the button and you get the mix of colors.
If you are talking about the 33ft. 100-Light C6 LED light set, these could only switch between Warm White and Multicolors solid on. There was no option for blinking or switching automatically. There is a button on the control box that allows you to switch between the two color choices.
These do not blink...they are a "constant on" string light in white or multi-color
