In the last few years, I have seen some very creative skeleton animals at Hope Depot for Halloween. After seeing an almost lifesize horse skeleton last year, I was really hoping they would someday do a big cat. Well, much to my surprise, I found my big cat this year at Home Depot. There were none on display, and just one hidden in a box, which I luckily saw and immediately bought. The skeleton is a lot bigger than the box suggests, especially with the long, partially articulated tail. As a representative large feline skeleton, it does have a couple inaccuracies, like three toes on the rear feet, and 'ear bones'. However, most people won't notice these things. The sabers are close to the size of real fossil sabertooth cats. When activated by sound, the mouth opens and closes, the 'eyes' flash, and a variety of cat snarls are emitted. The sound sensitivity is not super-sensitive (to avoid false trips), and is not adjustable. The skeleton was fairly easy to assemble, but the parts could have labeled a little better. The neck joint also has a spring loaded lock that is not explained in the instructions, even though a tool was included to actuate the lock. I placed this skeleton in the gift shop of our zoo, and we named him 'Puff' ;) In any case, a really nice find, and I hope Puff returns for many more Halloweens!

Great look, decent sound. I had a bit of trouble getting all the legs to lock into place so it falls over when I move it to set it in place but it stands stable once set on level ground.

A great addition if your Halloween decor leans toward the prehistoric ... this is a LARGE, surprisingly detailed, animated (button or sound-activated) and reasonably well-made saber-tooth tiger skeleton almost 7 ft. long. Be aware that while the plastic bones will no doubt tolerate some rain, the animated jaws and LED eyes probably won't -- and again, this is pretty large for an indoor piece and awkward to move when it's fully assembled. If you have the room, though, this is almost a guaranteed hit with the kids. It scared the bejeebers out of my 4 and 7-year-old the first time it "roared," but now they love it and begged to keep it out to play with long before it was time to decorate for Halloween. Comes mostly disassembled in a big box, and the assembly instructions leave something to be desired, but by looking at the picture, I was able to figure it out pretty quickly, and it snaps together easily and can be broken down for storage in a matter of minutes. Batteries included. Recommended.

I got this for my grandkids and it was a hit. It is extremely easy both to assemble and disassemble - save the box to store it in when not in use and note how they packed the product for reference. The instructions are extremely simple. It is not the most sturdy item, it tends to wobble a little after assembly. Touching the head activates both the eyes flashing and a snarling noise for about 30-45 seconds. It's pretty realistic looking and will make a great Halloween addition to our front porch. Comes with batteries and 2 modes of operation.

Easy to put together took less than 10 minutes from unpack-aging to finish. Not too many parts all are pretty large and not too easy to lose. Large in size and pretty cool looking. Due to the size this may be difficult to store put together so disassembly might be annoying. But it is lightweight so not terrible to move around. It is pretty awesome and very realistic and would scare someone.

It was much bigger than I was expecting
This skeleton decoration is actually the size of my couch. It was rather large. This decoration would be best used on a covered porch or other covered area because the head is not water proof. You must put the skeleton together, but no tools are required and the parts just snap together. They also unsnap fairly easily to disassemble for storage. I have included a short video showing its animation.
