I love this machine! It works great. I wish it had a bigger ice compartment, because it does go through it fairly quickly. The weather here is very hot right now though. I got the separate controller. It's great to have so you don't have to turn it back on all the time. The fog juice they have dissipates almost before the next cycle starts. I still love it! I'm going to try some long lasting fog juice.
Obnoxiously loud, hose doesn’t fit the unit... DO NOT PURCHASE
October 16, 2020
I purchased this fog unit last night and my 3 year old was SO excited to see her skeleton head with the fog coming out of its mouth. I purchased all of the “compatible” accessories, followed the instructions exactly and it was a total BUST!!! It makes an obnoxiously loud buzzing sound, the hoses do NOT fit the unit properly and we were both EXTREMELY disappointed. Do not waste your time or money on this fog machine. IT DOES NOT WORK!!!
At first I thought this machine wasn’t working and was set to return it, when I read another review on an entirely different machine that ended up fixing the problem. Quoting user LoveBennett: “The hose on the lid MUST go down into the tank and be submerged in the fog juice for the unit to function. Otherwise, it's sucking air and making a terrible motor whir noise and putting nothing out but air. That may seem to be common sense, but I had assumed as a top fill tank, that the drain was in the bottom, and not the hose attached to the top of the lid.” I’m only giving 4 stars because of the hassle of figuring this out on my own and because the tubing attachments are not compatible with this machine even though the question/answer section states that it is. The machine actually works great otherwise and the addition of the ice really does help to keep the fog low to the ground.
I read the directions, followed them exactly.....then when the light came on and I flipped the switch to go....a super loud sort of grinding noise and no fog. Machine got VERY HOT. I tried several times after reading directions over and over. Same result..bummer.
The fog machine, plugs in and I wait for the light to come on, once it does I pressed the on button and nothing happens. The light on the remote comes on and everything the fog machine just doesn't make any fog.
