AnswerIs the unit heating up? Make sure you have pushed the receiver in all the way, I made that mistake the first time. You have to push it in a little hard.

Disappointing
So little fog - even using the recommended branded "fog juice". The unit would only puff out fog for like 20 seconds then stop while it "re-heated". To add to the annoyance, it didn't automatically resume puffing - you need to "baby sit" the unit thought your event. More so, the unit is loud! The noise alone scared the kids! Buy the 1000w version and the automatic puffer control model at a minimum - skip this model at all costs.
