It DOES FIT the 400 and 1000 watt foggers Home depot sells.
I ran into the same issue as others, when I purchased this tube. When I took it out of the box, I neglected to notice a graphic on the front of the box that clearly shows a spacer installed inside the large end of the tube. If you remove this spacer, the tube WILL FIT the Home Accents fog machines. Check the outside-front of your box for this instructional graphic.

doesn't connect easily, if you have to use the insert to make the tube smaller it pops out very easily. there is a hard plastic section that extends into the tube and due to the heat of the fog, the tube likes to collapse right after that section. I ended up cutting it right at that demarcation and using just the short section which was fine for me since I was making a homemade fog chiller and just had to run it into a cooler of ice.

Pro: Makes it much easier to connect to a fog machine and route fog where you want it. LOVE the nozzle attachment. Does work with both 400W and 1000W, including older machines and those not sold at HD.
Con: the flimsy corrugated plastic hose MELTS when it comes in contact with HOT fog. DO NOT allow the hose to bend or dangle. The hose itself gets HOT when in use.
There are two sections of hard plastic tube inside the corrugated stuff. These protect the hose to some degree, but past the end of these tubes the hose can bend. I found out the hard way that a bend in the hose will cause heat to build up at that point and melt a hole right through the corrugated plastic.
Might be worth it to just get the nozzle attachment and replace with your own hose, but not worth the money for something that self destructs with normal use.
