there are no lights in the crown, which gives the option to use it or not
well, but I sprayed all "fur" with Scotchguard.
rained all night here and still appears dry
It has not been rained on yet but the cold weather does not seem to affect it.
We have not had much rain, but moisture has not been an issue at all. When the sprinklers hit it full force it didn't change the appearance at all. I would say to not let it sit in water because of the fur on the feet,...maybe sit is on bricks if needed. I am just saying that if it would be sitting in a puddle and not just wet grass. But it is really well made. We love ours!
If you want to cut a lot of zip ties you can put it back in it's box.11 pieces
Yes, it can be taken apart. However, you will have to cut tie-wraps used to hold the various sections together, and replace them next season. It is also possible to partly disassemble the lion and store it in larger pieces, depending on your needs. It might help to look at the assembly instructions link on the item description.
Yes the whole thing is put together with zip ties.
You can take it apart for storage, though you will need more zip ties to reassemble.
I don't think so...
lion from the isle of misfit toys in the first rudolph show
I had been told by more than one person that this is supposed to be King Moonracer from the Island of Misfit Toys in "Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer". And although his head and crown bears some resemblance to King Moonracer, this cannot be correct because in the story, King Moonracer is a winged lion. Lions are often depictued as kings because they are considered to be the king of beasts. So, who it actually is supposed to represent is up to your imagination.
I honestly don't know the answer....however the Lion does look like the one in the "Chronicles of Narnia".
That's what I going for. I have a lamp post, and looking all over the internet for other lawn animals.......so I am not going to say officially it is representing that due to copyright.....but you have the idea. I will not be using the crown or the cape.........going for whimsical.
