The tree stand is perfect for my 6 ft tree. The stand is wide enough for the base of the tree to fit comfortably inside and yet not too wide. The 5-screw support provides a very secure and sturdy hold. The well of the stand is nice and deep. The tree stand was very reasonably priced.

This tree stand is super sturdy and I appreciate that it holds so much water! I dislike how bulky it is, however it makes my tree skirt have a nice slope downward. Just be aware of how bulky it is, because you'll have to buy a larger tree skirt OR put it in a corner and make the part of the tree skirt that doesn't close up, be in the back - like I did.

Cracked on setup year 3. Frustrating setup all 3 years
First of all, the flat ends on the screws always want to fall off into the resevoir. Also, having 5 supports sounds good but really makes adjustment much tougher when trying to get the tree straight. Soon after we stood our tree on the third year of use, we hearf a loud popping sound and found a crack that stems about 3/4 the length of the sidewall. My advice is to apend a little extra on something else - it will be worth it.

The stand cracked almost as soon as I started to tighten the screws. The stand should not be used...
The stand cracked almost as soon as I started to tighten the screws. The stand should not be used with an 8 foot tree. Maybe it could hold a 4 foot tree without breaking. The plastic is too soft to be used for the intended purpose.

This is the worst stand ever. Bought at Home Depot Beaverton, OR. Every single eye bolt busted where it's "secured" by plastic and our 8 ft. tree tipped at a 45 degree angle. We managed to balance it upright again and did what we could to get the tree to stand. The next day we noticed all the water was gone (the bottom broke too) leaving our carpeted floor soaked. Seriously a very bad tree stand. Waste of time.
