Hi Terri, Thank you for your interest in our Crystal Semi-Flushmount! This item unfortunately cannot be attached to a ceiling fan safely. This is a standard Semi-Flushmount, meaning it is made to attach directly to a ceiling fuse box.

How do I Install the glass ornaments ? No where on the paper instructions shows how to install them?

Each glass ornament has a metal piece that has to be inserted in each hole and bent over to secure.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not enough balls! After I searched my house for a box I might have mislaid, I looked at the empty... Not enough balls! After I searched my house for a box I might have mislaid, I looked at the empty styrofoam containers and realized that the specified 85 crystal balls had come in the box, they just weren't enough for the fixture. I'm missing almost all the balls for the top ring. I think this is ridiculous and don't understand why they wouldn't include all the parts. Also, kind of tricky to install. Very heavy item to be held in place by two little screws, which by the way made even trickier by the fact that the little metal balls to fix the screws onto were very easy to lose, they kept falling off as I tried to install and it was a nightmare to try to find them. Looks nice but poor design and the lack of necessary items in the box makes this very frustrating and dissappointing.

Then when you try putting them on even more brake and you can’t fix them unless you can somehow glue them on or something. And you have to attach each ball yourself. Then you’re stuck without al the balls.

I bought this from home depot.When I insatlled it more than 10 crystal balls were broken.i called the customer care center 1 800 986 3460(home decorators collection customer service) they said will replace 10 crystal balls.Its been 2 months never arrived the balls,the light looks incomplete. i paid $ 40 to install it .Its waste of money.... I WILL NOT RECOMMEND this to anyone.

I didn't have packaging issues as a few other reviewers had. If possible, have someone help you attach the balls because it can be time-consuming to do alone. The fixture is very heavy with the balls. I installed LED bulbs before putting the balls on because it dawned on me that some of the balls would need to be removed in order to change a bulb. Other than that, I still love the design, and it shines a nice bright light in the room.
