A lot of variation
I ordered this side splash for my Merryfield Vanity (https://www.homedepot.com/p/Home-Decorators-Collection-Merryfield-61-in-W-x-22-in-D-Bath-Vanity-in-White-with-Marble-Vanity-Top-in-Carrara-White-with-White-Basin-19112-VS61-WT/313100224).
I was in a hurray so I ordered three with plans to return any that didn't match. I'm glad I did because as you can see from my photos one was a great match, one was a so-so match, and one was not great. I was very happy with the one that did match though, and the return was easy.
One thing to note, the edges on the side splash are beveled whereas my counter was not, but it's so subtle I don't notice.

Almost perfect match for my vanity top
I used this side-splash on a vanity with a Carrara marble top (Home Depot Internet #204660766). It is not a perfect match, but it is close. It is not quite as wide as the backsplash and I had to trim its length by about 1/2 inch.

Should’ve Read the reviews first
Just like everyone else the sidesplash didnt match the vanity top and its “supposely” the same stone. Still a beautiful piece of marble but i couldnt use it .. i would recommen this product if its the correct color.

Did not match
Awful. We have a beveled edge backsplash and this one was the one recommeded to go with it. The side piece is wider and a fifferent type of marble. Honeslty i dont know what we are going to fo now. We thougjt it went with the vanity not a generic piece.

We renovated our master bathroom with a new vanity with a Marble Carrara top with a matching back...
We renovated our master bathroom with a new vanity with a Marble Carrara top with a matching backsplash We needed a sidesplash to match the existing top and backsplash. We discovered to match a natural stone is a difficult task to take on. We ordered three from Lowes that were not a close match We went to Floor Decor and tried 2 pieces that didn't work. We went to a local granite top supplier that would not have matched perfectly and would have been too expensive with it being custom cut. Fortunately after ordering three differnt sidesplashes from online Home Depot we were able to find a perfect match to our vanity.
Homedepot.com was very easy to use and the descriptions were spot on with the dimensions of the product. We ordered the first sidesplash which we received in less than a week and it was a close match. We decided to order two more to see if we could get a closer match and the second was close to perfect. We had no problem returning the other two sidesplashes back to Home Depot. We couldn't be happier on how our vanity turned out. Thanks to Home Depot, the sidesplash is a perfect match rather than a noticeable eyesore. See the attached photo so you can check out the matching Carrara Marble sidesplash to our vanity top.
