AnswersYes. It's just intended to protect the mirror while it is in the box & being shipped. Wait until you've installed the mirror & then remove the film.
What are the special cleaning instructions? Our installer tossed them after hanging the mirror.

AnswerJudy I am a real estate rehaber we put in 8 of these just use 10 lb picture hooks I used two on each works perfectly.

Maybe I should have given 3 starts, but it would have had to be only for "my" particular mirror...I have added a pic, I took out of box only to measure for hanging and didn't notice until it hung.
I was too lazy to take back (35 minute drive), once I carefully removed staple, again ** see pic attached ** it didn't look as bad and I left it up.
Like any product, take a quick look before hanging or installing.

Looks great. Clear, and fits perfectly in the smaller space I wanted it to fit in.
There is a dent in the frame, hence the 4 star rating instead of 5. I could have returned it, but didn't notice until it was already hung & packaging disposed of. There was no damage to the packaging, so this would have been from the factory. Therefore I would suggest to inspect the mirror very closely before installing.
I'll likely be buying 1-2 more for other bathrooms, but will check closer at the frame before getting rid of the packaging. Love the fog-free feature. No matter how steamed up the room, the mirror isn't the slightest bit fogged up.
Note: some of the reviews say the mirror isn't clear. The instructions clearly say that the mirror comes with a film on it that needs washed off. Looks clear to me.
