We are in the process of redoing our master bedroom and this comforter looked like it would go well with the Behr 'Dove' color we were painting the walls and they do look good with the walls. The comforter and pillow shams are nice quality, an attractive pattern, and feel like they are a high thread count.
Something I did not think through was that although we have a queen mattress, it is 16" thick so a full/queen comforter does not drape as low as on a standard mattress; just something to consider when choosing the size of a comforter. Fortunately, our guest room is a similar color, so they would workin that room as well.
Although we have not washed these, instructions are clear and does not require dry cleaning. I recommend this item .

The product description is alittle misleading. It's not exactly a blue medallion print. There is also beige/dusky rose detail as well. It has 2 jumbo pillow shams that are 100% cotton, so you need to be careful when washing. It fit well on my queenside bed. It would have been nicer if it were reversible to a solid color. The longer I look at the print, the more it feels too "busy" for my taste. Not modern enough.

I was looking for a comforter to tie my grey carpet and multi color tile together, with a little country flair. The Alana 3-piece Blue Medallion comforter was a perfect match. There is a little muted blue, grey and beige in a paisley pattern. it reminds me of a quilt pattern I had as a child.
Very impressed with the quality of the comforter, it feels polished like a sateen, but not shiny. It's thick and rich feeling but lightweight so you don't feel pinned underneath it.
It's packaged in a zipper lock plastic bag, but it didn't have that textile smell. I love that it's washable.

I am absolutely in love with the Home Decorators Collections Alana 3 Piece Blue Medallion Full/ Queen Comforter set. OMG! Absolutely Amazing! Way beyond my expectations! The colors are so vibrant! I wish I could have shown the full effect but I already have a Home Decorators Collections Comforter set on my bed, but trust me you will not be disappointed. The set is plush and full and hangs on the floor a bit, it does have a flaw though I do not like how when you put the pillow into the sham the slit does not go all away across to the other side. Other than that I give it an A+

The quality of this comforter set is excellent. The fabric is 100% cotton (an unexpected surprise), and it feels soft and smooth to touch. I also do like that the comforter is not quilted, or channeled, so there is no stitching running across the surface of the comforter. The pillow shams have a wide flange around the edges, and a center back overlap entry. The print is lovely, I especially like the shades of blue and gray. My one issue is that I personally am not crazy about the pinkish-tan color used in the pattern. Other than this, I am extremely happy with the quality and look of this comforter set, and recommend it.
