Cons first: the drawers don’t slide well at all. They stick and require you to shove it to close it. The wood seems soft and might dent or scratch easy.
Otherwise it is a heavy duty piece of furniture and looks beautiful in my office. It is a great alternative to those metal filing cabinets. I was also impressed it came with the anti-tip hardware and screws solidly into the back, allowing you to put it into two studs. The drawers are solid wood on the sides and are the bulk of the weight. When it got delivered (fully assembled!), we left it in our foyer for two weeks because we dreaded bringing it upstairs. But once we took the two heavy drawers out, it was easy for the two of us to lift. The file hangers allow for multiple arrangements: two letter files side by side, letter and legal side by side, or not using the file hangers at all.
Overall, happy with it, just wish the drawers were smoother.

Beautiful, semi-rustic, HEAVY horizontal filing cabinet in a tannish-grey wood finish, accommodates legal and letter-size hanging files. Not sure about the negative reviews, but customer service must be paying attention, because ours came beautifully and meticulously packed. The shipping container was a bit banged up -- easy to understand, given the weight -- but the cabinet itself is perfect. Be warned, though -- this thing is heavy even before there are files in it. It's got to be well over 100 lbs. My wife and I aren't feeble, but it took both of us to get it down to our basement. Once there, though, it looks fantastic, and seems built to last. I don't have any experience with mango wood, but this seems dense and nicely finished. The interior hanging hardware accommodates letter size files on the left and legal on the right, and it comes with tethering hardware to secure it to the wall -- an absolute necessity, given the weight, if you have kids who might be tempted to open a drawer and climb it. The finish on top seems to be a type of acrylic or plasticized stain, very robust. Overall, just a beautifully designed and constructed piece of functional furniture. Highly recommended.

This looks great and it is a sound product but there is a HUGE issue with opening and closing the drawers it takes all my might to do just that....... it seems tome the tops of the drawers need to be shaved down.. This comes completely built , so there is no way to take apart and see what the problem truly is..

BIG PLUS, came assembled. Cabinet is beautiful, exactly as shown, very sturdy. Only problem I had was I paid extra to have heavy box brought into house, and asked them to remove the heavy cardboard box and they would not. Just dropped and left. Would not order large item again.
