AnswerExtremely, there were a few scratches on the leg when we opened the box. It doesn't take much to scratch - fingernails even. The material is NOT durable, very disappointed with my purchase.

Wood pieces do not fit together!

I am so dissapointed in this bench. It looks nice but the bottom piece does not fit in between the two legs of the bench. I would need to buy a new piece of wood & need a special tool to carve out the bootm piece. Poor manfacturing & construci justtion. I do not recommend purchasing this unless you are a woodworker! I just picked this bench up on 09/15/2020.

Bought two benches and paired with the lighter table. Heavy, does not scratch with a finger nail as stated in another review. Not as washed as the picture. Mostly black. Nice rustic bench.

For a dining bench the width is perfect and very comfortable. Its perfect for a table 80 - 84 inches. The black washed mango wood was a gamble but I like it ! it grounds our Mango wood Grey washed dining room table - I may add cushions but not necessary. Easy to put together and very sturdy. Anita S.
