Easy installation. You can actually feel the air it pushes down, not like other fans. The led color changing light is neat. Very easy installation.

Fine, but not black.
I never understand why these kinds of products are described as “matte black” but are anything but. The “matte black” blades are charcoal with white wash. If I had known, wouldn’t have gotten it. Does the job. Not psyched about the crappy colour description.

We apologize for any confusion about the finish of the fan. As stated in the product description, the fan has a matte black finish, but the blades are not described as "black". Per the product description, the blades are reversible with blackened oak on one side and gray washed oak on the other. The blade finishes are also shown on the product page.

Why the noise?
Nicely built fan with great features, but I wonder if other people are hearing a noise from the motor?

Another reason is if the receiver is connected to an incompatible switch. If the looks it’s all it matters then this is for you.
So, no doubts this is a very aesthetically pleasant kinda of fan. I would give 3 starts for the looks. It will look good in so many environments and the two color blades are such a cool idea HOWEVER looks are not the main reason I needed/wanted a fan. I have to say the performance it’s terrible even on its highest setting. It doesnt even tickle the heat in the summer here in NC. Wasn’t much of a help at all. Not a good buy. I have casablaca fans on the rest of the house and oh boy I should have gone for another one. My casablanca fans are ten thousand times better than this but I was kinda short on my budget and needed to get something cheaper this time and here we are I literally got what I paid for. I thought it was a deal because of the good reviews but not really. Looks are ok but perfomance is terrible be aware.

We are sorry to hear that you feel this way about the fan. Please make sure that the fan is operating in the proper direction to create a downward airflow. For optimal performance, the fan should be installed so that the blades are about 8ft from the floor. On high speed, the fan should rotate at a rate of about 185 RPM. Great item for the bedroom
My first time EVER changing a fixture, seemed pretty easy. My lighting fixture before was just a light, no fan and wanted a light with ceiling fan because it gets hot in the summer for me. Manual did include a video tutorial on an App on iOS called BILT which made it pretty easy for me. Took about an hour as expected. It has 2 sides of fan blade a black color and this greyish color which I went with because it matched my carpet being a brown color. The pros about this item is the energy sufficieny, there are no bulbs on this thing, just an LED panel and has 3 settings, a bright white color, warm white and a soft white. There is a small panel to screw or nail into the wall for the remote which is nice. Maybe best to install it near the switch. I think the slight con will be if you have this, is there are no strings to pull the fan setting on or off as well as for the light, it’s all by remote. Chances are if you have kids who want this fan in their room, may not wanna do that in case they lose the remote. The other slight con about this is when I flip the switch, my light has a delay maybe .5 second turning on? Which is odd but I guess is normal. I’d say even my grandparents will do well with this. Has 3 fan settings, the light is dimmable as well. I stuck with the warm white color and love the 3 fan settings, my room is a 12x12 size

I love the look as it coordinates with other decor and is surprisingly powerful distributing air for a ceiling fan. The three degrees of the light and also three of the fan are outstandingly serviceable for the price. Long term investment quite worthwhile
