Magnficent
We replaced 4 very outdated wall lanterns with these beauties. We don't have a Home Depot in our city and I was antsy to get this project done so I purchased other lanterns from 2 competitive big box stores. The hardware was cheap and the lanterns were just lacking. I also ordered some from an online retailer. Sent them back, too. I had been eyeing these lanterns for a while and so I made the road trip and could not be more pleased! They were so easy to install (I'm a mom of 3 and did all 4 in about 2 hours). The bronze is perfectly modern and not brassy at all. The style is timeless. Not too mission-style and not too formal. I love this look so much more than oil-rubbed-bronze which is the non-black alternative that most lanterns offer. The seeded glass is beautiful and substantial. I can't say enough good things about these. Worth the $100/light. Thank you, Home Depot!

Very pretty, sturdy, attractive, exactly as pictured except for the color, which was darker brown than expected. A couple other comments: The installer pointed out that the lantern would most likely move (front-to-back) in high wind, and generate noise. We stuck a rubber bumper on the base, where the top edge of the lantern would hit if it moved, to prevent any noise. Also, the medium sized lantern is quite large (see pic). If you're on the fence about size, try the small one. Overall very satisfied with this lantern.

I like the look of this light fixture with the style of my house... kind of Spanish / Mediterranean. Two things when installing... my house was built in 1975 and the outlet box screws that came with the light were too large to fit the two holes of the electrical box - so I had to find smaller screws that would go into the holes of the box. Also when putting the cap nuts on and used a screw driver to tighten, the cap nuts got "damaged". They are not made of a very strong material to withstand the tightening. Probably is the case with most cap nuts these days. Pleased with the size of the light fixture. The actual glass and frame is larger than the old one that was up there though the total height from top to bottom is about the same.

We put this light up to replace a 25-year-old light on our garage. Swapping an old light for this new one is pretty easy. For a new installation, you may need an electrician unless you are particularly handy and comfortable working with electricity. This is a very attractive fixture, the dark finish contrasting nicely with white garage door and trim. It accommodates LED bulbs so it puts out a lot of light, really brightening up the outside of our house at night.

The new lights I love installed two Home Decorators Collection outdoor wall mount lantern. We like the old world look with modern lines which does create a uniquely simplistic look. Golden Bronze finish accented with Clear Water glass panels complement the exterior of our home decor. Aluminum construction housing is ideal for outdoor installation, Clear water glass creates a beautiful glow when illuminated. Adds transitional styling and visual interest to the outside of our home.
