The Bayshire 60-inch brushed nickel ceiling fan with a light makes an elegant addition to any room in your home, or install it as an outdoor patio ceiling fan. With 3 hand-painted dark driftwood faux wood ABS blades and a 6-speed DC motor, it is designed to maximize your comfort in all four seasons inside your home or outdoors. The energy-efficient LED shines 800 lumens using only 18 watts. Change the mood of a room using the remote control to dim the light and select 3000K warm white light, 4000K bright white light or 5000K daylight. DC motor fans are 70% more energy efficient than AC motor fans (when comparing efficiency (CFM/W) of DC vs AC motors in published FTC Energy Guides for ceiling fans).

Exceptional Air Flow / CFM’s
This fan moves A LOT of air on my porch, which is what I was looking for, as I was hoping to limit the amount of bugs and heat on the porch during summer months.. So far, the ‘Bayshire’ has delivered just that! Being my first install- I found the directions to be clear and the install to be super easy, and I was able to do so alone w/o any issue.. Installation tip: When attaching blades, refrain from fully tightening each blade (leave a little play) until all 3 blades are attached!

Very nice fan
This fan is super easy to install and the instructions are excellent. I replaced an old fan, and taking it down was harder than installing this one. It’s a really beautiful, sleek fan and is powerful yet very quiet. The light is adjustable from warm to cool and lights up my porch very welll. Two bits of imfo: 1) don't forget to remove the fan block before testing your motor electrical connection. 2) if you are replacing an existing fan and have two hot wires for separate light and fan switch, just cap one off with a wire nut.

Fun prop fan project
I picked up this fan recently as a project to do with my daughter. The general dimensions and shape of the blades look similar to the propeller off of an F4 Corsair, so it is only natural to want to make a replica out of this, right? :-)So, that is exactly what we did. The prop tips are painted with some Rustoleum gloss yellow rattle can, and the mid-prop decals are replica Hamilton Standard manufacturer logos. we're still sourcing some stenciling for the drawing and date codes for the inner props, but those will come later.The fan itself is great. It moves a LOT of air, and unlike other models from this brand, it does not have a bulky receiver box to try to stuff into the mounting base. the light only requires standard 12-2 romex, so it can be used as an upgrade for most overhead lights without the need for an additional conductor for dimmer control. the remote is different than other models by the same brand, but I actually like it a little better. The only negative marks I have for this fan is that when it is in full speed mode, it sounds like a gear driven motor... it is noticeably louder than the next lowest setting.

We recently had a patio cover installed and had two of these fans installed. The ability to change the color of the light was a perfect feature for us since we had LED lights installed with the patio as well that were warm white. We went through the settings and found the perfect color to match our LED lights. We really like the color as well and it pushes a lot of air which is also great on really hot days.
The one thing I will point out (which may be a problem for you but not for us) is that because the fans are on the same frequency, 1 remote turns both fans on/off, lights on/off, and modifies fan speeds. So if you are looking to control them independently... you might need to mess around with it. We like it because we only have to use 1 remote to control everything so works for us.

Will be buying another one!
We bought this fan for the master bedroom. We needed a very quiet fan for sleeping. We looked at tons of fans and read a lot of reviews before deciding for this one. It’s super quiet and moves a lot of air. I don’t think we will ever need to use it on the highest speed (it has 6 speeds). I should mention that we actually purchased a hunter fan, but took it down because it was way too noisy trying to sleep with it on.
The installation was pretty easy. The only thing we would have made different would have been to put the blades before...it was tricky screwing the blades into the hanging wobbling motor.
This fan is very sleek and modern looking. We were in doubt with another very similar looking alike fan we saw at the store, but this one has the wood looking finish on the blades and that gives it a much more elegant finish. It looks so much more expensive than it actually is... the style reminds me of minka fans.
We are actually thinking about purchasing another one for our patio because of how so much air it moves.
Really happy with the purchase.

Looks and works great, easy to assemble
Looked at a lot of other options before finding this one and so far I really like it. Fan matches our patio style and works as expected. It is very quiet and seems to move plenty of air at its medium speed settings. The adjustable light is also a nice feature and should make for a nice environment in the evening. It was pretty easy to install, but being my first fan took me about an hour. Only other feature that would have made this a complete package for me is if it had smart controls/phone app, though overall for the price this is a good fan.

fan is very wobbly - have tried tightening all screws...
fan is very wobbly - have tried tightening all screws and leveling the blades but that only provides temporary relief before it goes back to wobbling wildly. Terrible product
