I love the cushions! They changed my old patio chairs to a need look. I was thinking about throwing them away but the cushions brought them back to life. The quality is exceptional and when tied down they are held down very well. The cushions are comfortable (like sitting on a couch) and exceptionally connected to the chair. They don't wiggle around, it's like sitting on a real chair not a separate cushion. They are phenomenal!

The Canvas Mid-Back outdoor cushion by Sunbrella has proved useful for dining furniture around the pool. It is designed for outdoor usage, but it also is very comfortable to sit in. The cushions themselves are made with acrylic fiber so it should be resistant to water or sun damage.
It was easy for us to fit it to the chairs since most of our outdoor dining chairs are mid-back level. The colors were vibrant and matched other dining set cushions to some degree. We are expecting this cushion to last several summers since it is weather and UV resistant.

I have mixed feelings about these chair cushions. On the one hand, they are made well and are covered in Sunbrella fabric which will provide superior longevity in a sunny climate like mine in Arizona. They tie on to the chair, so wind will not blow them off.
On the other hand, they are rather thin, more like a pad than a cushion and I doubt they would supply a great deal of comfort on metal chairs. They are certainly not designed for wicker chairs like mine either. It was a bit of a chore to get the ties on the upper part of the back through the wicker to secure them properly. The covers are also not removable for laundering so in time, I suspect they will become difficult to clean. You'll notice they are "mid back", so do not cover the entire back of my chairs. This does not make them uncomfortable though.
So, with these qualifications, I am recommending them.

Sunbrella material is the best outdoor fabric available. Higher brand umbrella companies use this fabric. The cushions are comfortable without being too thick which would move you forward too much on the chair back. It was very difficult to find a cushion this size.

These cushions are of good quality and feel nice against the skin. Sunbrella has been around since the 60's and they have been able to manufacture fabrics that are not only very resistant to the devastating effects of UV rays but are also resistant to mold. And if there is a time when some mold appears even caustic bleach can be used without damage. We have a set of chairs on our patio that are ready for replacement cushions and with this set they should stay looking better even longer. I remember Sunbrella from when I was very young and my parents had a sailboat on which their products were used explicitly due to quality and the longevity of life in harsh natural conditions.

We have a large patio furniture dining set we got from Home depot. The chairs are made from heavy cast aluminum. A couple of our cushions got torn up, so we got these Home Decorators Collection 19 x 17 Sunbrella Canvas Black Mid Back Outdoor Dining Chair Cushion (2-Pack) to replace them. They arrived just fine, and look great. The chairs they go on are black, so the black acrylic fabric looks elegant on them. The fabric seems tough, and is easy to clean if we need to. We love them! Thanks Home Decorators Collection, and Home Depot!
