This fan was delivered as described. We have mounted 3 of them in our outdoor patio. They are quiet, but push a good amount of air. No remote, but the speed is adjustable but the switches. I would recommend.

I checked the warranty between this fan, and your competitor, and the lifetime warranty on the motor was the difference and the reason I bought two of them for my outdoor screened in patio. Had my electrician come out for the install, and they will make a big difference in the hot and humid summer days. And they look good.
