Bonterra 2-Drawer Chocolate Nightstand (32.5 in. W x 21.65 in. D x 30.25 in. H)

This is the Home Decorators Collection Bonterra 2-Drawer Chocolate Nightstand. This is a really nice piece of furniture. First, it came extremely well packed, so I wouldn’t hesitate ordering it and having it shipped. After opening it, you simply attach the four feet (see Photo 1) and you’re ready to go. Note that the feet have adjusters so you can level it if necessary (see Photo 2). It does come with the now common anti-tip kit, but in our house, with no children, I didn’t install it. The nightstand is very well made and fairly heavy (69 lbs in the box). One thing that irks me, however, is that they went ahead and made a fine piece of furniture, but the drawers only come out half way (see Photo 3). I didn’t take any stars off for it. This limited drawer extension may be to reduce the chance of tipping the unit if it’s not secured, but either way, I would have like to see 100% extension slides (I’d even settle for 75%). If you’re considering this nightstand, keep in mind it’s fairly large. Photo 4 shows it next to a queen size bed. It’s a bit higher than a traditional night stand, and also, it’s deeper (sticks out from the wall) more than you might expect. If the size is not a problem, I highly recommend this beautiful unit, well crafted unit.

Very nice night stand for a bedroom or use as another purpose throughout the house. First I will give you the pros, heavy piece of furniture,( 82 pounds ) very solid walnut stain and some parts are solid wood and some are veneer .Came fully assembled except for the legs. The drawers are dovetailed which I like, the legs come separate and must be screwed to the bottom of this nightstand. The height, width and depth dimensions are posted on the website. and also in the description. Came packed very well and was no damage to it . Now the cons, They must put the cheapest drawer slides on this . The drawers are 14" deep but only pull out half way to 7 " . Have to reach way in the back of drawer to see and get something. Plus I found on mine that the drawers dont really slide in and out smoothly, a few inches out and there is a lot of play in drawers side to side. I will be replacing these slides with longer drawer slides that will extend at least 12 ". and also be soft close slides. As is the top drawer can be pushed in 1/2" beyond the face of the night stand. The bottom drawer goes in all the way and is flush with the front of the night stand which it should be. Maybe a got a bad one .Overall it's a great piece of furniture but the slides are really bad in my opinion. I would still recommend this night stand but took a star off for the sloppy and cheap drawer slides.

This is a solid wood (no particle board) well-built night stand. Note that it’s 24 inches wide and will work in your space before you purchase it. It was delivered in perfect condition and I can attest that care was taken in packing it. The drawers were built with dovetail design. The metal drawer slides are smooth. It was made in Vietnam. I would recommend it

Beautiful! Quality piece

this seemed like a well made nightstand, especially for the price. However, I ordered 2 of these based on the 24 in wide dimension as advertised. The product sent was actually 30 in wide and would not fit in space. Was a pain to have to haul these back to HD to return.

Beautiful. Sizeable. Easy to assemble.

Bought the night stand and dresser for our guest room and I am very please with both.

Good construction and looks great in the guest bedroom.
