A: This fan model only has a single connection to power both the fan and the light at the same time. It can only be connected to a single on/off wall switch.

A: so be aware this unit's light operates from the remote, also note that this unit light will flash when it is operating which is fine when you're not sleeping! I have never been able to get the clock to work right, this is definitely is a novelty item !

A: Good questions that should only be answered by contacting the manufacture of both the fan and the switch for the correct answer and usage.

A: Certain HDC models with AC motors will be compatible with Model#9050H, but not all. This model, however, uses a DC motor and is not compatible with any wall control. It can only be controlled with the included hand held remote, a standard on/off switch, and by smartphone app or voice assistant if using a Bond Hub Smart Home device.

A: If the LED on the fan is blinking it is possible that there is a loose connection or interference. Verify that the connector plugs that connect the LED to the motor are fully connected and the pins for each wire are fully inserted. You may need to complete the pairing process with the dipswitch in the batttery compartment of the remote set to "1" (if available). If you are still having issues with the fan, contact customer service at 1-800-986-3460 for assistance and replacement parts.

A: You need to change the light switch since this is a led light maybe that will stop the problem,
Good luck

A: The light will flash every minute, like a minute hand. I have two of these fans, and they were both doing it so I figured it was on purpose. Sure enough, every 60 seconds, both of them flash light for a split second.

I still would recommend this product although I think it had perhaps not been stored in ideal conditions. When we opened it the battery for the clock was corroded and not usable. Also the clock face is wrinkled. I had to get the project done so I used the fan and I do love it but the quality is not what I expected. The fan is stylish and performs well and without the two issues with quality it would be perfect. I will attempt to track down how to get a replacement clock.

My first thought on this fan is that it obviously would be best in a living room, where you don't necessarily need an overhead light. However, after reading some of the info and looking at the specs, the Comfort Breeze mode intrigued me, so I decided to take a chance and installed it in my bedroom. The clock face is cool, the ambience-type lighting is very pleasant, so I'll try making do without a ceiling light and see how it goes.
This fan has quite an elegant look to it, which surprised me. The curve of the fan blades, and the quality of the design of the clock/watch part, is very nice. Plus, the brushed nickel is also a little more attractive than normal. So, first impression, very good, until you turn on the light, then the trouble begins. For starters, couldn't get the dimming function to work, even when setting the remote to dim . Then, the inside of the clock face was dirty, and the light really makes it show up. Makes the whole clock look kind of crappy. Bad attention to detail, I'm going to call the company about a replacement, & see about the dimming.
The fan actually has 9 speeds, which the spec sheet shows, I'm not sure why some reviewers are saying 6, although that is what it says in the information paragraph describing the fan. You can switch to reverse mode using the remote control, and it has to be done while the fan is running. I've never had a fan that worked like that, is that the DC motor? Whatever, it's quite something. The Comfort Breeze setting is also quite something, the fan automatically fluctuates between three different speeds to create a more realistic wind type effect, and there are three different levels to choose from, a low, a medium, and a high. Very nice and subtle. And also, the slowest speed on this fan is very slow, which I really like.
The fan is very quiet and smooth on all speeds, and is surprisingly effective for a two blade fan. So far, other than the clock face problems, I really like it.

I was excited to get this fan, I like “different” and the wrist watch look of this fan is that for sure. For the record, it is a nice looking fan and a good ideal. The problem seem to be a quality issue. First like I’ve seen in other reviews, the clock face was wrinkled, you can see it in my pictures. Second was I had two screw holes strip out on me. I am far from new to installing fans, my guess this would be around my 25th fan I have installed and my third DC fan. This is only the second time I have striped a screw hole and the first time was on a $39 fan, this fan I stripped two. Good news is when I called customer service, they did say they would send me out new parts. Meanwhile I was able to get the fan installed with what I had. With this fan I would be sure to read the manual on how to install, it does have a couple different twist. The clock is battery powered and appears to be pretty easy to get to, to change the time or battery, it kept good time for three days so far. The light is a joke, if you need good lighting in your room, this is not the fan for you, additionally it is a “dimming” light, full bright and full dim look the same to me. Light is good enough to read the clock, but doubt if you could read a book in your room with just this light.

I deducted one star in rating due to the fan arrived with a defective part and only the light would work. Otherwise would have given fan a five star rating overall. The replacement part was shipped out and arrived very quickly and was not hard to install. The fan operates very quietly. This is our first remote controlled fan and really do like the convince compared to wall switch and pull chain activation fan. The fan is loaded with features,“Lifetime” warrant, remote controlled, 9-speed settings, LED lighting (not dimmable), battery powered analog clock, 3 settings for wind affect, rotation change for winter and summer use. LED lights do not provide much more then candle light illumination. When you look up at the fan its design is a large wrist watch.
For only two blades this fan can really move some air, and whisper-quiet to boot. The light is only useful as a nightlight or to illuminate the clockface, it WILL NOT light up your room at all. It would be better if it perhaps had a light ring around the clock's edges that could be toggled on for room illumination. Be certain you already have adequate room lighting if you are considering this fan. Some of the remote's features don't work on this particular fan model.

Almost a good fan
Nice looking fan, moves plenty of air. I had to return it because the remote had no control of the fan and the LED lights flashed once and never came on again.

so pretty easy mechanical install, but the wiring was a bit of a nightmare, there are 5 wires that have to be hooked up, had to get some help but I was so excited to get this fan, it took a while to get here so that's why I gave it a 5 star, it's very quiet and moves a decent amount of air and my grandkids love it !!

Great volume of air flow! Clock light blinks every 60 seconds or so which is weird. I guess I could unplug the clock light as I don't really need it. The clock itself works on a AA battery. Works great in my kitchen but had to return the one for my bedroom. Makes an air chopping noise like a steam locomotive & couldn't sleep with that.
