These 'do the job,' but they're very cheaply made, and I don't know how they'll hold up over time. If you look at the 4th product photo, you can see that the ends of the slats are not stained — they are white, which gives it a very cheap unfinished look. I had to go to a crafts store and find a matching felt marker, and then spent a half hour coloring both ends of each slat to get it to look decent. There was also significant chipping at the ends of many slats on the front/back surfaces which revealed the white wood, which I also touched up with the marker.
I put these up in a workroom window, so they're ok for that. In the rest of the house I have Devenco blinds, but those start at $350 for a 30" width.....
