I love this fan. It has a lot of air flow for me. Are you sure you turned the switch? Two settings. Plz try. These really put out a lot of air. Trust me as I have hot flashes and they really help.Kathy

There is a switch on the top side of the fan motor that you slide. You will have to get on a ladder to see the top of the motor housing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Out of order instructions, Screw heads too soft. Once installed, the fan looks nice, and operates quietly. However, there are a few caveats: 1) The Canopy mounts require loosening one screw and removing another from the ceiling mount. This is in the instructions on about step 7. If you did not go ahead and do this during step 1, you will need a right angle screw driver (if you are using the included down rod), as there is very little clearance for anything beyond a stubby or right angle driver. 2) The screws for mounting the light kit have VERY soft heads. Take care to have the right sized driver, and proceed with light force, or you will strip the heads and not be able to mount the two plates that make up the light. I have installed dozens of ceiling fans from several brands, so my only other observation is that the material and build quality for similarly priced Hunter and Hampton Bay (Home Depot brand) have been a slightly better than this fan in my experience. But not enough to sway a decision over your personal style preference.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylish & Functional for the Home I've purchased four of these ceiling fans, the first was six months ago for our living room. We love it so much that two weeks ago we bought three more to go in other rooms in our home. Installation is relatively simple, although it can be a bit tricky shoving all of the wires in with the remote receive beneath the base cover. I definitely recommend making it a two-person job just to ease the installation process. Regarding aesthetics and function, we are extremely pleased. The oil-rubbed bronze leans dark in the spectrum, but it works very well with the mix of black and metallics in our home. The fan is quiet, the only noise in higher speeds being the moving air. The LED light is decent at illuminating a smaller living room, but I wouldn't rely on it as the sole light at night if you are looking to read unless you are directly beneath it. This fan is great if you are looking for an economical and stylish ceiling fan for your home, and in our switch to LED lights around the house this fits the bill.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not great, not horrible The fan itself is beautiful. It was a quick install (husband is very mechanically inclined) however there are a few issues. One is the lighting. Right out of the package half the LED lights in the assembly don't work. We originally thought it was just a low light LED, however we took it apart just to make sure there wasn't anything wrong with the lights and we realized that over half the lights don't work. Its $35 to replace. The remote that comes with it is the only way to turn it on and off. So we had to wall mount the remote and it is not an easy remote. Sometimes i have to literally press so hard on the remote that i feel like i'm going to break it to get the light to turn on. The rest of the remote part works fine, just not the light area. Needless to say, i'm not impressed with the components of the fan. When the fan is on it works great and is very quiet. Just bothered that right out the box the lights only half worked and the remote sucked.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Purchased the nickel finish. Very nice looking fan. The installation was pretty straight forward ... Purchased the nickel finish. Very nice looking fan. The installation was pretty straight forward for anyone who has ever installed a ceiling fan. I chose to install it without the remote because I have two decor wall switches for dimming lights and speed control and do not like remotes that get lost or fail after a year or so. I just bypassed the remote and wired it direct, one to the motor and one to the lights. The installation went fast and I was extremely pleased when finished that the fan was perfectly balanced and did not require balancing... It does not generate as much down draft as I had hoped but it still circulates the air quite a bit in the 15' x 17' foot room. The light is quite bright at full brightness and dims to a soft blueish white light. Overall very pleased with the look and function of everything and will say again how pleased I am that it was perfectly balanced after install out of the box.

I wish I had read the reviews prior to purchasing and installing it. I replaced a fan with no light and I was looking forward to have more light in my room. But after my friend installed the fan I was very disappointed how little light there was. I would return it if I could for that reason. But if you don't need the light, it's a great fan. It's very quiet and easy to install. It took my friend about an hr. to install it. One of the reviews indicated that the fan is loud. That is not true, I am thinking perhaps the person installed it incorrectly or maybe that fan was defective. My remote works fine but from what I hear, it's not unusual to have issues with the receiver. You just have to request a new one from the seller and they should send it to you for free. Overall, not a bad fan.
