AnswersHi, The surface of the flooring is smooth without any imperfections and grooves. Very sturdy and good fitted floor if you know how to install it right. I don’t recommend it in wet areas like next to shower or kitchen it is not waterproof! Thanks!

This is my third large laminate installation in 2 years. First of all I would have given it 4 stars but when you walk on the floor it sounds like your tennis shoes are untied and flopping on the floor...and they’re tied. Lots of cracking/popping sounds. Other than that it’s a decent floor for a decent price. Installation was pretty normal.
There were places where you could feel the edge of the laminate when sliding your hand across the top so be careful with that. I had to remove planks to correct but still it ended up happening so if you buy this flooring watch for that.

I selected this product at Home Depot because it was supposed to be one of their better quality flooring's. I live 50 miles from the nearest Home Depot. I went there thinking I would bring it home and be able to install the next day. But, they had to order it and I had to wait 10 days for it to come in. So after 10 days I had to drive another 100 miles round trip to pick it up. A few boxes in I started noticing that some of the panels were chipped on the sides so I would set them aside. Turned out to be 30 to 40 percent of the panels were chipped. Instead of waiting another 10 days and having to make another 100 mile round trip I went ahead and installed it trying to hide the chips under my office furniture. I am concerned that it is going to continue to chip even worse. I have been in contract with Home Depot and they are currently working with me about a warranty. However I am not going to be pleased if they just warranty the product and not the labor. I do not want to have to move all my office furniture out and tear it all out and re-install the new by myself.
