Relax the look of any room with the calm and comforting Driftwood Flatweave Bamboo Roman Shade. Environmentally friendly, semi-private textured natural shades (also called bamboo blinds, bamboo shades, or woven woods) stylishly filter light and protect your furniture from fading. The rich wood tones of natural shades are complementary to jute and sisal rugs as well as many hardwood floor and furniture finishes. Natural shades are textured window blinds that are available in many different colors and styles. They are popular window treatments for coastal and beach properties, lakeside or country cottages, and traditional or modern homes. For additional privacy or neutral backing, you can attach a fabric privacy liner to the backside of natural shades. Another option for additional privacy is to outside mount natural shades, then inside mount an inexpensive white black out roller blind. Black out roller blinds can be purchased on homedepot.com.

A:  Yes they have the same thing except it’s cordless. It pulls up and down using the bottom bar but the shade is exactly the same. I had three of the ones you pictures and I had to buy three of the replacement type for my other windows

    A:  Dear Gokool, It depends on how you choose to mount the window shade. For inside the window we recommend ordering a half inch narrower, which would be 22 inch W (actual width size 21.5 in W). Outside mount you order a half inch larger, which would be 22.5 inch W.

      A:  If you are measuring so the blinds will fit within the trim of the window....order the exact width that you are measuring....they are cut to be the exact measurement. Do not round up as you run the risk of the blinds not fitting within the window. Most windows are not plumb from top to bottom and any slight gap variation will most likely be needed. You won't even notice it when they are hung!! Hope that helps!

        A:  My driftwood blinds are more light brownish than gray--I have them with acacia wood floors and they complement very well. Might be more brown than you're after however, you can always return or exchange. Also, something to be aware of, the blinds are not lined--light does come through them--this is the look I wanted in the small room we hung ours but probably not the privacy some people would want.

                I bought 8 of these in the 36" width. They install easily. I installed brackets first then hung blinds. I've had them for over 5 years and have been very please. I do raise and lower them each day and the mechanisms are working fine. They look much more expensive than their price.

                  The roman shades were easy to install. However, I had some variation in the length of the shades. They were supposed to all be 72 inches long, but one shade was 2-1/4 inches longer than the rest. I do like the look of them in my home, but was disappointed that the one was the wrong length. The shades arrived on April 9th and the box was a little "rough around the edges". It looked like it might have come open as it was really taped up on the ends. At least 2 of the hardware boxes had come open and the contents were in the bottom of the box with the six 38" wide shades. The 32" wide shades and hardware were individually boxes up inside the big box. I did not get them installed immediately; therefore did not know of the length difference on the one until installation. But overall I really like how they filter light just enough and they really add character to my country home!

                  I like the color and I was able to install them but they will need to be returned. The string guide for the shade to go up and down was not connected on one side. I had to spend 20 minutes figuring out how to get the string through the fabric to work with the pulley. Then after figuring that out I had to figure out how to loop the string through the pulleys. It still does not go up and down evenly. Then I opened the package for the other window. This time the cords were strung through the fabric controlling the shade going up. That's good! but after getting it installed I realized the alignment on each side is completely off. It doesn't seem to matter what I do, they go up at different levels. It was such a pain.. I think the person that put these together was having a bad day.
