This flooring looks fantastic, we had someone install it for us but it goes down really simple. We used a quality 2mm thick underlay. Could not be happier with it. Very durable so far. It’s been down for only a month or so, but we have two dogs, golden retriever and an Australian Shepard that are very active . Not a single mark or scratch so far, and very easy to clean.

Thick Laminate with nice Color and Texture
Several other reviewers mentioned difficulty installing. You need to take your time and recheck each board after each install. That will ensure a good tight floor joint and help with any water that spills on the floor. If you angle the board a bit as you hammer into place it makes the install rather easy. Using a couple small wood scraps about 1/4 inch each (see pics) sometimes two makes it snap into the groves with just a few taps. I also used a scrap 5/4 board as a tapping block to spread the pressure out as I tapped the long edge into place. Boards can chip so be careful during install. But once installed it seems capable of taking a good hit without denting. Finally the look is awesome. Nice color variety and realistic wood texture with the Silver Cliff Oak.

I am going to put it throughout my house. I have done the kitchen and the dining rroom and I plan on having the living room, hallway and bedrooms done!

I would have given it 5 star if the quality was better. Tongues

Beautiful
This was easy to for my husband and I to install, and we were two people who had no idea what we were doing. We used it for our lower level bathroom, we plan to use it for the rest of the basement once we get it finished.

Beautiful and quiet. Silver Cliff Oak.
Just had these installed by my cousin in a studio apartment and they're wonderful. Up close they have amazing texture, they're super quiet and they match my "greige" paint walls perfectly.

Please don't waste your time and money
We installed this flooring through our entire house about 4 months ago. It is warping all over the place. It claims it's water resistant, it isn't! We've had many different kinds of flooring over the years and never had a problem before. Also, it was the biggest pain to install of any floor we've ever installed. We called the company and they are a nightmare to work with. I'm upset that Home Depot even carries this flooring.

great product but check the color
Easy to install, very durable. However make sure to check the color by handling a sample. Order this online and when i saw it in person it was much, much darker than i anticipated.

Water resistance of spills
I have had this product installed for 5 years now. In that time we have had two water spills that were wiped up within minutes and still resulted in plank warpage due to the water getting into the joints. 3rd time happened Jan 2021. The first two times Home Depot took care of the repairs, but refuses to take care of the 3rd because they only warranty their installation for 1 year. Manufacturer does not want to warranty the product at all for water damage even though their warranty says they will unless it was from a flood or something substantial NOT a spilled drink or a dog water bowl spill, etc. Home Depot has submitted the warranty claim in my behalf to manufacturer as the manufacturer requires in their claim form. Manufacturer Swiss Krono sent out a floor inspector who said it was a maintenance issue. No explanation of what that means in regard to the water damage. When I bought this flooring I was not told that the floor was not waterproof. Why would anyone want a floor that is damaged every time water is spilled on it. Manufacturer says the floor was not sold as waterproof. Probably true but it was implied in all the literature as a floor to live on, not a floor to babysit for potential spills. Also was not sold as NOT waterproof at the time of sale. Since then the manufacturer has come up with a product that they say is waterproof and discontinued this flooring. They obviously recognized its faults and moved on. The ones who purchased thinking they had a good product with a good warranty to back it up paid the price for the manufacturer to test the reliability of their product. It failed the test and they discontinued it. End of Story.

BEWARE! Difficult to interlock boards!
Beware of install! I have installed many of these types of floors, and Ive installed 3 floors from this company (Home Decorators) back about 2 years ago. However, something has changed with the design of the interlocking channels and this new design is MUCH MUCH harder to install. I literally Destroyed 2 rubber mallets while installing 300 sq/ft of this floor. It took so much force to get them to interlock that I broke the handle on one but not before chunks of the head tore off. and my other mallet with a fiberglass handle was split and also had chunks that had tore off. I am not kidding about the difficulty of installing this floor!! My hands hurt for days after due to the force I needed to use to get them to lock together. Luckily the rubber tapping block could handle the force, and the grooved edge of the floor could handle the impact. How does it look? Well the floor looks good, and is durable. be mindful of the flooring pattern. in the boxes the same pattern was stacked given twice. so in a box of 8 pieces you will probably only get 4 unique patterns. We had to open multiple boxes and lay them out to ensure we didnt have the same print next to each other (there are 7 different pattern prints). But if you have not installed this type of floor before or don't have the strength and accuracy to smash the boards together, you may want to look at other flooring options.
