This pillow is sold by "Home Decorators Collection" and is marketed as having "cooling technology" among other things. I do not know much about the technology or pillow materials and types in general but I can tell you that this is a nice comfortable pillow. It is standard sized for sleeping and is what I would describe as "of normal thickness" and soft and squishes down quite a bit when laid down on. It is not summer or hot yet so I have not had the chance to see how "cool" it can be but so far it does not seem to get hot. I will say that it does seem hypoallergenic as I have very bad allergies, especially lately, and have not woken up with as bad of symptoms since using this pillow. So far so good. I recommend it.

This down alternative pillow is good for side and back sleepers as it gives great support for your head and neck. The makers of this pillow have woven "cooling technology" into the cover fabric to help keep you cool at night. The cover is a breathable 230 thread count cotton fabric. Good quality pillow. I like the feel of this and it gives me a good nights sleep.

A nice pillow for side sleepers!
This is a VERY firm pillow, made for side and back sleepers for the most part.
It also provides nice support if used between the knees for back pressure and is a great 'readers' pillow for those that like reading and sitting in bed.
It fits in any standard pillow case.
I didn't notice much 'cooling' effect, it seems the same as any other pillow I own.
It was nice and quiet, some types of cheap stuffing make a bit of noise as it compresses and expands, this one is silent.

Working perfectly for side sleepers, it's ok for back sleepers but it's a bit too firm for that, your neck may get stiff like mine did and for stomach sleepers I would pass entirely.
If you mainly sleep on your side and like a harder pillow I highly recommend it.

This pillow from the Home Decorators collection is very puffy at about nine inches. It is called a jumbo size and just makes it into my standard pillow case. The outside fabric is cotton. There is no removable cover on it, so the whole pillow would have to be washed. It is machine washable and dryable. Inside is a dense fill of polyester. It compresses down with the pressure of the head, cradling it a surround of puff. Then it bounces back to full height as foam would do.
The other feature of this pillow was the cooling factor.
After sleeping on it last night, I found it very comfortable, if not still a little high. But what I didn't enjoy was any cooling feature. That was what I was looking forward to. Did not do it, even flipping it over.

Every Position Cooling Down Alternative Jumbo Pillow is an over stuffed pillow compared to regular size ones. Its filled with 100% polyester fiber and has a stitched all around covering which is nicely done. It is measured at its peak height of around ten inches and easily compresses down when you put your head on it and then springs back in the morning. I've been using a memory foam pillow for years which tend to be smaller so it felt different, maybe am not the best judge. I did find it comfortable sleeping soundly during the night; although, for me, the larger size would need getting used to using. Final note. I haven't had it long enough to see the cooling down aspect of the pillow in the manufacturer's description. If you like a large pillow this is a good choice.
