The fit was perfect even for deep pocketed mattresses. The top of the protector feels great and it felt nice and cool to the touch (I wouldn’t even mind sleeping directly on top of this in the heat of summer). I would love if they could make sheets out of this same material because once you put a regular sheet on top of the protector it does loose just a bit of the cooling effect.

Wow, it's so wonderful sleeping on a chilled, cooling bed. It's amazing. The Extreme Cool Mattress Protector couldn't have came at a better time, because here in the southern states it will be 100° in the shade very soon. Most of the mattress protectors I've had in the past get very hot to sleep on throughout the night, but this one maintained it's cooling effect. I love it so much. There are no crinkling noises waking you up like some of the mattress pads that incorporate vinyls. Also, it fits really well on my 14" thick mattress without any shifting, and could easily fit an even thicker mattress. The gathering supports are strong and well-made. It is sewn so beautifully and constructed for durability. The sheets feel so much nicer with this mattress protector, and provide the perfect accompaniment to a restful night's sleep.

This mattress pad actually feels about 10 degrees cooler than the room!
I was surprised that it actually worked, and worked well. I can't say that enough times.
If you are a 'hot' sleeper or have a warm room and like it to feel cooler this pad is a great option.
It fits any queen bed, even the double sided padded mattresses, up to 15 inches thick.
Nice thick elastic bands hold it in place once installed on the mattress.
It has a nice quilted pattern and the bottom side is plastic, keeping expensive mattresses safe.
I plan on using this pad in Summer when the house gets warm, it will help keep me cooler as I sleep. And we all know that feeling cool helps many people sleep better.
I highly recommend this for people that always feel too hot in bed, it actually works!
If you need a mattress protector and you don't want to feel like you wrapped yourself in plastic wrap, this is the one to buy!

The lines on the cover are also blue. It looks like a plastic material on the underside. The top is a smooth fabric. The stitching lines do not pierce through the bottom protector; they are fused to the top. This makes a protective moisture barrier for the cover. It has deep corner pockets for pillow top mattresses. It is comfortable to lie on.

If you are one of those people who often flips their pillow at night to get to the cool side, this may be the product for you. This quilted pillow protector has a layer of cooling material in each square. It was noticeable cooler on both sides when sleeping on it. A lot of cooling pillows usually have the cooling material on one side only. It is a more subtle cool than those types of pillows, but it also preserves the softness of whatever pillow you are using.
This cover is made of 100% polyester and is machine washable on gentle cycle. It fit my standard pillow perfectly with a little extra space to spare. The tag on the pillow called it a jumbo. The measurements are 29" x 21".
As a basic pillow protector, it encloses the pillow on all sides with a zipper opening on one end. This keeps allergens like pet dander and dust mites from getting on your pillow through the open end of a regular pillow case. This Home Decorator jumbo pillow protector feels soft, silky, and cool. It has a thin quilted surface and is made from polyester and polyethylene. The stitching and the edging are well done. The inside has a film of thin, soft plastic which is heat resistant, waterproof, and breathable. It claims to keep you cool and dry while sleeping by regulating the temperature of your pillow. There is no stiffness or noise when sleeping on it and the pillow remains as soft and huggable as it was before being covered.
One side has a micro zipper, so the pillow stays in place. It is machine washable and dryer safe on low heat. It washed well. Since I washed it with the zipper opened, it was still a bit damp inside after drying. I simply turned it inside out and dried it for a few more minutes on low heat. It measures 21"x29" and arrived in a plastic zippered bag.

Satin-y smooth
This is a satin smooth pillow protector, and it is definitely is cool to the touch. It's a bit like walking on tile vs walking on carpet, the tile always feels cooler. It does not insulate like a fuzzy cover, so it will tend to pull heat away from your face / head. Of course, if it's 90 degrees, then your pillow will also be 90 degrees and it is not going to be like an ice cube, but it certainly does feel cooler when you first lay on it.
