Stain on granite from soap
Love the unit but make sure you don't use any liquid soap for your hands. If any of the soap gets on granite will stain and is very hard to get off the counter.

Disappointed
I wanted to love this vanity. Beautiful design, but the 1st 1 had to go back due to white adhesive everywhere. The 2nd 1 has blobs of black and white throughout the granite top, making it less than pretty. Lastly, with the granite top and sink glued in place, thev49 in vanity weighs 263 lbs. Nearly impossible for
2 large men to get upstairs. They did, but damaged the paint in 2 areas.

Great Free Standing Vanity and Cabinet
We had our very outdated bathroom gutted and replaced everything. Our new vanity and cabinet are gorgeous, well-built, unique, and very reasonably priced. Guests and our installers frequently comment on the beauty of the style and color. My concern was that our outdated vanity was far longer with tons of storage, but we have found that our new, smaller vanity with the side cabinet is well-designed to provide more than enough storage.

Really bad quality!! And weights 282lbs!!
The one we got has a drawer with a huge quality issue!! It's already been two weeks, and I've been fighting with Home Depot Customers Service for the problem to be taken care of!! So far no solution!! Also that thing is all glued together and weights almost 300lbs!! How stupid!! They could have the granite top and the two sinks niot glued. Then you'll be able to carry each sink, the granite top, and finally the vanity separately. The guys from Home Depot could hardly carry that thing, and totally ruined the stain of my deck stairs while trying to bring it up!! Luckily for them I live in a bi-level, and they only had to climb ten steps!! Still thought, it took them almost an hour!! Would not recommend to anybody to order that vanity!!

Minor defect
I was amazed to see the vanity and top arrived undamaged based upon how it was handled from the delivery truck to my foyer. However, after unwrapping the drawer and cabinet knobs from the protective covering, I found the knobs to be defective. It appears to be some type of corrosion to the metal knobs that does not wipe off. It’s corrosion that’s etched into the metal. All 12 knobs have some level of this corrosion from completely covered to just areas on the knobs.

Don’t buy! Beautiful at First
This vanity is beautiful when it’s first installed. However, within months the paint started cracking and the pressboard started coming a part. It does not withstand water which doesn’t make sense since it’s made for a bathroom! I have a 2 yr old and 4yr old, they are washing their hands independently and water has trickled over the edge of the sink onto the “wood” vanity completely cracking it and ruining it. I wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone.

We are sorry you are having issues with your vanity. Please understand that the vanity is water resistant but not water proof. The paint resists water but it is not impermeable. The vanity has a solid wood frame and MDF panels so spills do need to be wiped up or water will settle into the materials. The Hamilton is a best-selling vanity and has been in circulation for over 10 years so it is a proven vanity, but please send us pictures at hdc@avanity.net so we can evaluate and assist you with a solution, for example replacement parts. Falls apart when wet b/c not wood
Purchased late October 2021. Installed in November. Cabinet has gotten wet many times because it's under a bathroom sink. Water has caused the bottom of the cabinet, which is made of compressed wood and has the durability of painted cardboard to bubble up, peel apart, and look terrible. See pictures.

While they are covered with water resistant paint that does not make the vanity water proof. Spills still need to be wiped up asap rather than letting it sit on the wood. Please Don’t Buy
After installation, the faucets were installed. We turned on one faucet to check for leaks, like any normal person would do. There was a leak and we immediately shut off water. It was not a lot of water. Within minutes the side cracked open, the shelf split and the paint peeled. Even after drying it out for several days, it started to mold. We eventually had to remove the cabinet and ordered one from a cabinet maker. PLEASE DONT BUY. It’s nothing but pressboard!

We are sorry you experienced water damage to your vanity. The vanity is MDF with a solid wood frame. It is not pressboard. The vanity undergoes rigorous QC and QA at the factory and is painted with water resistant PU paint that undergoes a UV treatment for extra drying protection. But please understand that painted furniture is water resistant, not water proof. Excessive exposure to water will cause damage. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you.
