Q:I have a different top to use with this. Is the top that comes with it already sealed on and if so will it be easy enough to remove and put the other top on? Love the cabinet, hate the round basin.

Beautiful but….
This vanity is beautifully made, sturdy. Quiet close doors and drawers. The color of the vanity is perfect. The height is taller than usual but good. BUT the vanity top was just not well thought out. The granite top and color…PERFECT! The round basin…..NO NO NO! I ended up buying another top to put on, square basin. It’s not granite bc well, it’s too dang expensive. But what I got is pretty enough. The square basin is mandatory, it’s so much bigger and gives more room to wash hands.

Issue with drawers & defects
Followed directions to a tee, drawers were not flush and would not stay on tracks. Also cosmetic defects such as 2 bubbles under surface and a gouge in wood on 1 side when we opened box. The only good thing is the countertop is beautiful.

Strange
I love this vanity but, I don't know if anyone else has had this issue, but when the granite top gets wet from drips or underneath the soap container. It changes color and turns dark until it's completely dry. I keep a cloth in the drawer so that I can wipe it often, but it takes awhile for it to change back. It's the weirdest thing and I don't know if this is normal because this is my first granite topped vanity. (The pic is about 2 hours after I wiped it dry)

Had to be assembled, not hard to do. Looks great, ordered side piece but it did not match and was 4 in. instead of 3.5. Had tile guy cut and it looks OK. Quality was good, one draw bottom was cracked but still installed it. Nice vanity.

Decent Vanities
We bought two of these for our master bath remodel back in 4/2015 but did not install them until recently. Both of them had dents on the side but because of the time frame of purchase we couldn't do anything about it. Also when we went to install the granite our handyman noticed that both tops had a slight crack in the middle of the front with one more noticeable than the other. My husband called the online customer service which did nothing. We went to the nearest store but they wanted us to bring everything back to see if they could even do anything and it was up to the store manager that was there the day we came in. We decided to bite the bullet and purchase new granite counter tops for both of them. I also replaced the knobs with brushed nickel that made them pop. I would buy another vanity from home depot but I would definitely inspect it better and do it within the 90 day window!! But I would not buy one with their granite vanity top!!

Fantastic Vanity in my newly renovated bathroom
Having ordered this online for our bathroom renovation, it arrived in a large, heavy box assembly required. My husband and I transported it to our home in the back or our van and then our contractor handled all of the instillation and made no mention of any trouble with it. The picture on the website does not do this vanity justice. Yes, it's solid wood, and the drawers are on stiff slides with a no-slam feature. With small children in our home, this works wonderfully for us, because the drawers do require a bit more strength to open, and for us it's perfect for our needs as I don't want them to be easy to open. The counter and sink are awesome (granite, yeah!) For this price I couldn't have done any better. This vanity looks like I paid much more, and with the 8" oil rubbed bronze faucet I purchased (obviously faucet isn't included) it looks very nice and goes very nicely with our tile selection, Daltile folkstone slate sandy beach, also from Home Depot. We used linen colored grout. Love it!

Overall very satisfied with the vanity
Love the counter space, the soft close hinges, the depth of the drawers, and finish of the wood. Installation was pretty straight foreword (~2hours) and the sale price made this item a great value.
Only Con - the drawers are very difficult to open. Takes a good tug to initially open the drawer. Once open, they glide pretty smoothly. Hope this becomes easier with time/use.
