Kennison Evere Ivory Wood Accent Chair with Tufting and Nailhead Trim (32.68 in. W x 32.28 in. H)

The Home Decorators Collection Kennison Evere Ivory Wood Accent Chair with Tufting and Nailhead Trim is a nice looking chair, but how does it compare to other chairs ? The box it self is about 3 feet square, with the chair packed in 1 inch styrofoam sheets on the sides. This chair, seems to be constructed well and is solid, no creaking when sitting in it, all of the areas that should be solid are, the feet screw on vary well and the support on the bottom seems well made. The springs are in the base of the chair under the cushion you sit on, not in the cushion, this is important to me as in the future if I was to go get the seat restuffed I would not want to have to find a special cushion with coil springs in it. The seat and back are both firm but soft and the width is wide enough that I am not squished in the chair. How ever I would have to say this chair is doctors office comfortable, The arm rests are just as hard as they look with vary little padding and the back of the chair is short, so if your looking for a chair you can relax your head back on, this is not it. This is one of the chairs that if you do not pay attn. and sit in it while it is up against a wall, your head bangs off the wall. I am 5'7" 185 lbs for reference. The chair has front legs with casters and solid back legs, so the design is such that it sits solid with out moving when you sit in it, but lifting the back it is movable on the front casters. It does come with 4 pages of instructions with pictures to show how the feet are put on, how ever I was able to put them on with out reading the instructions. I in fact looked at them after putting the feet on. The chair is made by MEIYI Furnature company LTD. China. Material is polyurethane foam pad 91% , polyester fiber batting 9%. Meets California flammability requirements 117-2013. I took a picture of the label if any one wants to read it. So why did I give this chair a average rating, well compared to other similar arm chairs, it is the same as most others, with the same uncomfortable arms and a back that is too short.

This chair is gorgeous. It has a sleek modern design with nailhead trim and a tufted back. The seat sits approximately 18 inches high and 32 inches in width including the arms. The overall height of the chair is 32 inches. The front legs have wheels but the back legs are stationary. The cushion is removable but stays in place with the 2 hidden velcro strips attached underneath the front of the cushion. It is down filled and the manufacturer states that the material is each to clean, liquid resistant and highly durable. I plan to use this accent chair in my master bedroom, but it would also look wonderful in a living room or home office. The chair arrived very well packaged and all you have to do is screw in the legs and secure the back legs with the hardware that is included. The wooden frame is very sturdy and should provide years of enjoyment. I would definitely recommend this accent chair for a living room, bedroom or home office.

Fabric is lighter than anticipated. Very comfortable and elegant but too white for my room.

Chair is very sturdy- it feels abit hard at first but then you realize its really just structured and honestly after sitting in it a few times i prefer it now to be sturdy than more of a sinking in feeling

We have two of these chairs. They look lovely and are very comfortable. They are easy to clean. The "tack strip" is a nice touch. It has wheels on the front legs; we use floor protectors on our wood floors. It is well-made and the button back makes it attractive.
